6.1 Automatic Recording

The dash cam will automatically power on and begin recording when your vehicle's ignition is turned on. It will automatically power off when the ignition is turned off.

  2. Navigate to 'Loop Recording'.
  3. Select your desired recording duration (e.g., 1, 3, or 5 minutes).

6.3 G-Sensor (Emergency Recording)

The built-in G-sensor detects sudden impacts or collisions and automatically locks the current video segment to prevent it from being overwritten. You can adjust the sensitivity of the G-sensor:

  1. Access the menu settings.
  2. Find the 'G-Sensor' setting.
  3. Choose between 'Low', 'Medium', 'High', or 'Off' sensitivity.

Regularly formatting your Micro SD card (e.g., once a month) helps maintain optimal recording performance and prevents data corruption. Always back up important files before formatting.

7.2 Cleaning the Dash Cam

Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the dash cam's lens and screen. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents, which can damage the device.

8. Troubleshooting

  • Dash cam not powering on: Ensure the car charger is securely connected to both the GPS bracket and the vehicle's 12V outlet. Check the vehicle's fuse for the 12V outlet.
  • Recording issues: Format the Micro SD card. Ensure the card is a U3 speed class and within the recommended capacity (32GB-128GB). Replace the SD card if issues persist.
  • Wi-Fi connection problems: Ensure Wi-Fi is enabled on the dash cam and your smartphone. Try restarting both devices.
  • GPS signal not found: Ensure the GPS bracket is correctly installed and has a clear view of the sky.
  • Dash cam restarts repeatedly: This could indicate a power supply issue or a faulty SD card. Try a different power source or replace the SD card.
