1. Introduction

This manual provides detailed instructions for the safe and effective use of your Idealife 4-inch 20 LED Submersible Light. Please read this manual thoroughly before operating the device and retain it for future reference.

2. Product Features

• Independently and Group Controlled: Utilize a single remote to control individual lights or multiple lights simultaneously for diverse lighting effects.

3. Setup

3.1 Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge the submersible lights using the provided magnetic USB charging cable. Connect the magnetic end to the charging port on the light. The light will display a red indicator while charging and turn green when fully charged.

3.2 Unpairing (First Use)

The lights may come pre-paired from the factory. To ensure independent control or to set up new groups, it is recommended to unpair them first:

1. Turn on the light by pressing the power button.
2. Long press the power button on the light for 5 seconds. The light will blink once to indicate successful unpairing.
3. The light will then power off.

After unpairing, the light can be controlled by any remote of this model.

3.3 Mounting Options

• Magnetic Attachment: For metal surfaces or above-ground pools (with Q-pad on the outside of the pool wall), the strong built-in magnet allows for secure placement.

• Suction Cups: Attach the Q-pad with the 4 silicone suction cups to the back of the light for use on smooth surfaces like bathtubs or inground pools.

• Hooks: Use the Q-pad with the strong hook for hanging the light in closets, tents, or as a night light.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Basic Control (Remote)

Use the provided RF remote control to operate the light. Ensure the remote is within range and pointed towards the light for optimal response.

• Power On/Off: Press the ON or OFF button.
• Color Selection: Choose from 28 static colors using the color buttons.
• Brightness Adjustment: Use the brightness up/down buttons to adjust light intensity (5 levels dimmable).
• Dynamic Modes: Select from 98 dynamic modes including Cross Fade, Flash, Strobe, Spark, Breath, Auto, and Jump.
• Timer Settings: Set timers for 0.5H, 1H, 2H, or 3H.
• LED Control: Independently control Top LEDs, Side LEDs, or both (Top+Side LEDs).

4.2 Group Control / Pairing

The lights support both individual and group control. To pair a light or a group of lights with a specific remote:

1. Ensure the light(s) you wish to pair are turned on.
2. On the desired remote, press the NL + SHIFT buttons simultaneously.
3. The light(s) will flash red 5 times to confirm successful pairing.

Once paired, that remote will control the specific light(s) it was paired with, without interfering with other lights.

To release pairing (allowing the light to be controlled by any remote again), press NL + SHIFT on the remote. The light will flash green 2 times.

5. Maintenance

• Cleaning: Wipe the light's surface with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Battery Care: Recharge the light when the brightness diminishes. Avoid fully depleting the battery for extended periods to prolong its lifespan.
• Storage: When not in use for an extended period, store the light in a cool, dry place. Ensure it is fully charged before storage and recharge every few months.
• Water Seal Integrity: Regularly inspect the light for any signs of damage to the casing or seals to ensure its waterproof integrity.
