  2. Carefully slide the monitor with the attached VESA plate onto the arm's mounting head. Ensure it clicks into place securely.
  3. Tighten the security screw on the VESA plate to prevent accidental detachment.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1. Gas Spring Tension Adjustment

The gas spring tension needs to be adjusted according to the weight of your monitor to ensure smooth and stable movement. Use the provided Allen key to adjust the tension screw located on the arm.

  • Turn clockwise for lighter monitors (to decrease tension).
  • Turn counter-clockwise for heavier monitors (to increase tension).

Adjust until the monitor stays in position when moved and can be moved with minimal effort.

7. Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and proper functioning of your WALI Single Monitor Mount, follow these maintenance guidelines:

  • Regular Inspection: Periodically check all screws and connections to ensure they remain tight. Re-tighten if necessary.
  • Cleaning: Wipe the mount with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the finish.
  • Gas Spring Adjustment: If your monitor's weight changes (e.g., upgrading to a heavier or lighter model), re-adjust the gas spring tension as described in Section 6.1.
  • Lubrication: The gas spring mechanism is sealed and does not require lubrication. Do not attempt to open or lubricate it.

8. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your WALI Single Monitor Mount, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

  • Monitor Sags or Drifts Down:
    • The gas spring tension is too low for your monitor's weight. Increase the tension by turning the adjustment screw counter-clockwise (refer to Section 6.1).
    • Ensure the VESA plate screws attaching the monitor to the mount are securely tightened.
  • Monitor is Difficult to Move Up or Down:
    • The gas spring tension is too high for your monitor's weight. Decrease the tension by turning the adjustment screw clockwise (refer to Section 6.1).
  • Mount is Unstable or Wobbles:
    • Ensure the C-clamp or grommet base is securely tightened to the desk. Check the desk thickness compatibility.
    • Verify that all assembly screws on the mount itself are tightened.
    • Ensure the desk surface is stable and not prone to wobbling.
  • Monitor Does Not Stay Tilted:
    • The tilt mechanism might need tightening. Locate the tilt adjustment screw on the VESA head and tighten it with the appropriate Allen key.

If the issue persists after trying these solutions, please contact customer support.
