1. Product Overview

2. Setup
2.1 Connecting the Mouse
- Connect the USB cable from the XTRFY MZ1 mouse to an available USB port on your computer.
- The mouse is plug-and-play and does not require additional software for basic functionality.
2.2 Initial Inspection
Upon connecting, the mouse's RGB lighting should activate, indicating it is receiving power. Ensure the PTFE gliding surfaces on the bottom of the mouse are free from debris for optimal movement.

3. Operating Instructions
3.1 Basic Functions
- Left Click: Primary action button.
- Right Click: Secondary action button.
- Scroll Wheel: Used for vertical scrolling and as a clickable button.
- Side Buttons: Two programmable buttons located on the left side of the mouse.
3.2 On-Mouse Settings Adjustment
The XTRFY MZ1 allows for direct adjustment of key settings without the need for software. All adjustments are made using buttons on the mouse, typically located on the underside or top.
- CPI (Counts Per Inch) Adjustment: Adjust mouse sensitivity. Multiple levels are available, indicated by LED colors.
- Polling Rate Adjustment: Change the frequency at which the mouse reports its position to the computer (e.g., 125 Hz, 500 Hz, 1000 Hz).
- Lift-Off Distance (LOD) Adjustment: Customize the height at which the sensor stops tracking when the mouse is lifted.
- RGB Lighting Control: Cycle through individual colors, various LED effects, adjust brightness, or switch lighting off entirely.

3.3 Unique Shape and Grip
The Zy’s Rail Edition features a unique shape with a slim grip width, low button height, high back, slight curves on the sides, and comfortable grooved buttons. This design is intended to provide optimum aim and a stable grip, particularly for fingertip grip styles.

4. Maintenance
4.1 Cleaning
- Disconnect the mouse from your computer before cleaning.
- Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the surface of the mouse.
- For stubborn dirt, lightly dampen the cloth with water or a mild cleaning solution. Avoid harsh chemicals.
- Use compressed air to clear dust from crevices and the sensor area.
4.2 Cable Care
Avoid sharp bends or excessive pulling on the mouse cable to prevent damage. Store the cable neatly when not in use.
5. Troubleshooting
- Mouse Not Responding: Ensure the USB cable is securely connected to your computer. Try a different USB port.
- Inconsistent Tracking: Clean the optical sensor on the underside of the mouse. Ensure your mouse pad surface is clean and suitable for optical tracking.
- RGB Lighting Not Working: Check the on-mouse RGB settings to ensure it hasn't been turned off or set to a very low brightness.
- Settings Not Applying: Refer to the quick start guide for specific button combinations to adjust CPI, polling rate, and LOD. Ensure you are pressing the correct buttons for the desired change.
