3. Setup
3.1. Unboxing and Initial Charge
Before first use, ensure the SOS button is fully charged. A charging cable is included, but a charger adapter is not. Connect the button to a standard USB charger.
3.2. App Download and Installation
The SINGCALL SOS Emergency Button operates with the Tuya Smart or Smart Life application. Download the app from your smartphone's app store (Google Play Store for Android or Apple App Store for iOS).
3.3. Connecting to Wi-Fi
The device requires a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network for operation. It is not compatible with 5GHz networks. Ensure your smartphone is connected to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network during the pairing process.

3.4. Pairing the Device
- Open the Tuya Smart or Smart Life app on your smartphone.
- Follow the in-app instructions to add a new device. The app should automatically detect the SOS button if it's in pairing mode and within range of your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network.
- Confirm the device pairing within the app.
3.5. Configuring Notifications
To ensure you receive emergency alerts, it is crucial to configure both the app's notification settings and your phone's system notification settings.

4. Operating the Device
4.1. Triggering an Alert
To send an emergency alert, simply press the large SOS button on the device. The signal will be sent through your Wi-Fi network to the paired smartphone(s).
4.2. Receiving Notifications
Once the button is pressed, all smartphones paired with the device and configured for notifications will receive an alert. This allows caregivers to be informed even when they are away from home.

5. Maintenance
5.1. Battery Management
The SOS button is powered by a Lithium-ion battery. Monitor the battery level through the Tuya Smart app and recharge the device promptly to ensure continuous functionality. A charging cable is provided for convenience.
5.2. Cleaning
To clean the device, use a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these can damage the device's surface.
5.3. Environmental Conditions

6. Troubleshooting
6.1. No Notifications Received
- Check App Notifications: Ensure all notification settings are enabled within the Tuya Smart app (refer to Section 3.5).
- Check Phone System Notifications: Verify that notifications for the Tuya Smart app are enabled in your smartphone's system settings (refer to Section 3.5).
- Wi-Fi Connection: Confirm the SOS button is connected to a stable 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network.
- App Running in Background: For consistent notifications, ensure the Tuya Smart app is allowed to run in the background or has appropriate background refresh permissions.
6.2. Device Fails to Pair
- 2.4GHz Wi-Fi: Double-check that your Wi-Fi network is 2.4GHz. The device does not support 5GHz.
- Router Settings: If you have a dual-band router, ensure the 2.4GHz band is active and distinguishable.
