Setup and Assembly
Follow these steps carefully for proper assembly. It is recommended to have two people for assembly.
Step 1: Attach Casters to Base
Insert the 60mm caster wheels into the holes at the end of each leg of the chair's star base. Push firmly until they click into place.
Step 2: Insert Gas Lift
Place the Class 4 gas lift cylinder into the center hole of the assembled star base. Ensure it is seated securely.
Step 3: Attach Mechanism to Seat
Align the butterfly mechanism with the pre-drilled holes on the underside of the seat cushion. Secure it using the provided screws and Allen key. Ensure the lever is facing the front of the seat.
Step 4: Connect Seat to Gas Lift
Carefully place the assembled seat (with mechanism) onto the gas lift cylinder. Press down firmly to ensure a secure connection.
Step 5: Attach Backrest to Seat
Align the backrest with the metal brackets on the sides of the seat. Secure it using the provided screws. Do not overtighten initially; tighten fully once both sides are aligned.
Step 6: Install Armrests
Attach the 3D armrests to the designated points on the seat and backrest using the provided hardware. Ensure they are securely fastened.
Step 7: Attach Cushions
Attach the detachable neck cushion and lumbar cushion using their integrated straps. Adjust their positions for optimal comfort and support.
Operating Instructions
Height Adjustment
To adjust the chair's height, pull the lever located on the right side of the seat upwards. While pulling, apply weight to lower the chair or lift your weight to raise it. Release the lever to lock the height.
Backrest Recline
The backrest can recline from 90 to 180 degrees. Pull the recline lever located on the right side of the chair (below the armrest) to adjust the angle. Release the lever to lock the backrest in your desired position.
Armrest Adjustment
The 3D armrests can be adjusted in multiple directions: up/down, forward/backward, and rotated inwards/outwards. Use the buttons or levers on the armrests to unlock and adjust, then release to lock.
Swivel Function
The chair features a 360-degree swivel function, allowing for easy rotation without moving the base.
Maintenance
Regular maintenance will help keep your Zebronics ZEB-GC2000 chair in excellent condition.
- Cleaning: Wipe clean with a soft, damp cloth. For stubborn stains on PVC leather, use a mild soap solution and wipe dry immediately. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
