1. Introduction
This manual provides detailed instructions for the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of your BUNN VPR-2GD 12-Cup Pourover Commercial Coffee Brewer. Please read all instructions carefully before using the appliance.
2. Important Safety Instructions
- Read all instructions.
- Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
- To protect against fire, electric shock, and injury to persons, do not immerse cord, plugs, or appliance in water or other liquid.
- Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
- Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning the appliance.
- Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions, or has been damaged in any manner. Return appliance to the nearest authorized service facility for examination, repair, or adjustment.
- The SplashGuard funnel is designed to deflect hot liquids away from the user's hand, reducing the risk of burns. Always ensure it is properly in place during operation.
- This product is built to North American Electrical Standards. Ensure your power supply matches the appliance requirements.

4. Setup
4.1 Unpacking and Placement
Carefully remove the coffee brewer from its packaging. Place the brewer on a stable, level surface. This pourover model is completely portable and does not require plumbing, only an electrical outlet.

4.2 Initial Cleaning
Before first use, clean the decanters and the brew funnel with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly. Wipe down the exterior of the brewer with a damp cloth.
4.3 Power Connection
Plug the brewer into a grounded electrical outlet. Ensure the outlet meets the North American Electrical Standards for which the product is designed.
5. Operation
5.1 Brewing Coffee
- Place a clean, empty glass decanter on the lower warmer plate.
- Insert a paper filter into the brew funnel.
- Add the desired amount of ground coffee to the filter.
- Slide the brew funnel into position under the spray head.
- Open the lid on top of the brewer and pour cold water into the water reservoir. The brewer will immediately begin the brewing cycle.
- Once brewing is complete, remove the decanter. The brewer can brew up to 3.8 gallons (14.4 liters) of coffee per hour.
5.2 Using Warmers
The BUNN VPR-2GD features both upper and lower warmer plates to keep brewed coffee hot. Red switches on the front panel control these warmers:
- Upper Warmer: Place a decanter on the upper plate and flip the 'UPPER' switch to the ON position.
- Lower Warmer: Place a decanter on the lower plate and flip the 'LOWER' switch to the ON position.
CAUTION: Warmer plates and surrounding surfaces become hot during operation. Avoid direct contact.
