1. Introduction

4. Setup

4.1 Connecting the Decoder to Your TV

  1. Antenna Connection: Connect your terrestrial antenna cable to the RF IN port on the decoder.
  2. TV Connection (HDMI): For optimal picture quality, connect an HDMI cable from the HDMI-OUT port on the decoder to an available HDMI input on your television.
  3. TV Connection (Scart): Alternatively, if your TV does not have an HDMI input, connect the integrated Scart connector directly to the Scart input on your television.
  4. Power Connection: Connect the 12V power adapter to the DC-12V port on the decoder, then plug the adapter into a power outlet.
  5. Remote Control Batteries: Open the battery compartment of the remote control and insert two AAA 1.5V batteries, ensuring correct polarity.
  6. IR Extender (Optional): If the decoder is hidden or out of direct line of sight, connect the IR extender to the IR port and position the extender where it can receive signals from the remote control.

4.2 Initial Setup and Channel Scan

  1. Turn on your television and select the correct input source (HDMI or Scart) corresponding to where the decoder is connected.
  2. The decoder will power on. The first-time setup wizard should appear on your screen.
  3. Follow the on-screen prompts to select your preferred language (multilingual menu supported).
  4. Initiate an Automatic Channel Search. The decoder will scan for available DVB-T2 channels. This process may take several minutes.
  5. Once the scan is complete, the decoder will save the channels and display the first available channel.
  6. You can also perform a Manual Channel Search through the menu if needed.

  • Try a different USB device or format the current one to FAT32/NTFS.
