1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the COOKTRON Double Induction Cooktop Burner. This portable electric countertop burner is designed for efficient and safe cooking, offering rapid heating and precise temperature control. With its dual burners, child safety lock, and timer functions, it's an ideal solution for various cooking needs in kitchens, RVs, offices, or during camping.

2. Setup

2.1 Unpacking and Placement

• Carefully remove the cooktop from its packaging.
• Place the cooktop on a flat, stable, and heat-resistant surface. Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the unit. The ventilation ducts are designed to dissipate heat and prevent damage to the countertop.
• Ensure the power cord is not pinched or in contact with hot surfaces.

2.2 Power Connection

• Plug the cooktop into a standard 120V, 15A electrical outlet.
• The unit is ready for use when the display shows 'Lo' (low heat/standby mode) or '00' after pressing the power button.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 Power On/Off

• Press the On/Off button to turn the cooktop on. The display will show '00' indicating it's ready.
• Press the On/Off button again to turn the cooktop off. The display will show 'Lo' or 'H' if the surface is still hot.

3.2 Power and Temperature Settings

• The cooktop offers 9 power levels, adjustable from 200W to 1800W in 200W increments.
• It also features 10 temperature levels, ranging from 140°F to 464°F.
• Use the rotary knob to precisely control your desired power or temperature setting.

3.3 Timer Function

• Press the Timer button to set a cooking duration from 1 minute to 4 hours.
• The cooktop will automatically shut off once the set time expires.

3.4 Child Safety Lock

• Activate the child safety lock to prevent accidental operation, ensuring safety when not in use.

4. Cookware Compatibility

The induction cooktop requires specific types of cookware to function correctly. Compatible cookware must have a magnetic bottom.

Optimal heated area for cookware ranges from 5 inches to 10 inches.

5. Safety Features

• Child Safety Lock: Ensures safety when the cooktop is not in use.
• Automatic Shut-off: The cooktop will return to standby mode after 30 seconds if no function is selected or if an incompatible pan is detected (displaying 'E0').
• Overheating Reminder: If the surface temperature exceeds 60°C (140°F), the LED will display 'H' after the machine shuts down to prevent touch burning.
• Ventilation System: Designed with ventilation ducts to better dissipate heat and prevent damage to the countertop.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning

• Always ensure the cooktop is unplugged and completely cool before cleaning.
• The high-quality smooth glass surface can be easily cleaned with a damp cloth.
• Avoid using abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, or harsh chemicals that could scratch or damage the surface.
• The surface is scratch-resistant and waterproof for durability.

7. Troubleshooting

If the cooktop experiences unsuitable operations or displays error codes, refer to the table below for guidance. This information is for protection of the cooker and user guidance.

• E0 Error: Indicates no cookware is detected or incompatible cookware is used. Solution: Place a suitable pot on the hob.
