To maintain optimal performance and clarity, keep the lenses clean.

  • Use the provided cleaning cloth or a soft, lint-free cloth to gently wipe the lenses.
  • Avoid using abrasive materials or harsh chemicals, which can damage the lens coatings.
  • For stubborn smudges, a small amount of lens cleaning solution designed for optics can be applied to the cloth, not directly to the lens.

5.2 Storage

  • When not in use, store the rangefinder in its protective case to prevent scratches and impacts.
  • Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Remove batteries if the device will not be used for an extended period to prevent leakage.

5.3 Water Resistance

The PEAKPULSE LC1200A is waterproof. While it can withstand exposure to rain and splashes, it is not designed for submersion. Ensure the battery compartment is securely closed to maintain water resistance.

If you encounter issues with your rangefinder, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

  • Device does not power on:
    • Check if the batteries are inserted correctly with the correct polarity.
    • Replace with fresh AAA batteries.
  • Inaccurate readings:
    • Ensure the target is within the specified measuring range (up to 1200 yards).
    • Clean the laser lens and magnification lens.
    • Ensure there are no obstructions between the rangefinder and the target.
    • Avoid aiming at highly reflective or transparent surfaces, which can interfere with laser measurement.
  • Display is blurry:
    • Adjust the eyepiece (diopter) until the display is clear for your vision.
  • Device shuts off too quickly:
    • This is a power-saving feature. The device is designed to shut off after approximately 5 seconds of inactivity.
