1. Product Overview

The Qifutan Cell Phone Holder is designed to provide a secure and convenient mounting solution for your smartphone in various vehicle environments. Featuring a long, flexible gooseneck arm and a strong suction cup with an anti-shake stabilizer, it ensures your device remains stable and accessible while driving. The mount is compatible with a wide range of smartphones (4''-7'' in width) and offers 360-degree rotation for optimal viewing angles.

2. Package Contents

Please verify that all items are present in your package:

• 1 x Qifutan Cell Phone Holder (main unit with gooseneck arm and suction cup)
• 1 x Dashboard Pad (3M adhesive)
• 1 x Stabilizer Support Piece
• 1 x User Manual (this document)

3. Setup and Installation

Before installation, ensure the mounting surface is clean and dry. For optimal adhesion, clean the surface with a damp cloth and allow it to air dry completely.

3.1. Attaching the Phone Holder

Before mounting, assemble the phone holder head to the gooseneck arm:

1. Unscrew the pivot locking nut from the phone holder head.
2. Let the ball joint of the gooseneck arm pass through the fixed nut.
3. Insert the ball joint into the socket on the back of the phone holder head.
4. Tighten the pivot locking nut securely to fix the holder head in place.

3.2. Installation Options

Choose the best installation method for your vehicle:

Option A: Windshield Installation

This method provides a clear view and strong suction directly on the glass.

1. Clean the desired area on your windshield.
2. Tear off the protective film from the suction cup.
3. Position the suction cup on the windshield and press firmly to remove air.
4. Press down the suction cup lock to secure the mount.
5. Adjust the gooseneck arm and phone holder to your preferred angle.

Option B: Dashboard Direct Installation (Flat Surface)

For flat, smooth dashboard surfaces, direct suction can be used.

1. Clean the desired flat surface on your dashboard.
2. Tear off the protective film from the suction cup.
3. Position the suction cup on the dashboard and press firmly for at least 1 minute to ensure complete contact.
4. Press down the suction cup lock to secure the mount.
5. Attach the stabilizer support piece to the gooseneck arm and adhere it to the dashboard for added stability.

Option C: Dashboard Installation with 3M Dashboard Pad

For textured or uneven dashboard surfaces, use the included 3M dashboard pad for optimal adhesion. Note: The 3M dashboard pad is disposable and not reusable once applied. It is not recommended for windshield mounting.

1. Clean the desired area on your dashboard.
2. Tear off the protective film from the 3M dashboard pad.
3. Firmly press the 3M dashboard pad onto the dashboard for 1 minute. Allow it to sit for 24 hours before attaching the car mount to ensure maximum adhesion.
4. After 24 hours, tear off the protective film from the suction cup of the phone holder.
5. Attach the phone holder's suction cup to the 3M dashboard pad, pressing firmly.
6. Press down the suction cup lock to secure the mount.
7. Attach the stabilizer support piece to the gooseneck arm and adhere it to the dashboard for added stability.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1. Inserting and Removing Your Phone

The Qifutan phone holder is designed for convenient one-hand operation.

1. To open the clamping arms, press the release button located on the lower back of the phone holder.
2. Place your smartphone into the holder.
3. To secure your phone, gently press the back edge of the clamping arms until they firmly grip your device.

4.2. Adjusting Viewing Angle

The mount features a 360-degree rotating ball joint for optimal viewing.

• Gently rotate the phone holder to switch between portrait and landscape views.
• Adjust the flexible gooseneck arm to position your phone for the best visibility without obstructing your driving view.

4.3. Charging Port Access

The design includes an open charging port at the bottom of the holder, allowing you to charge your phone while it is mounted.

5. Maintenance

To maintain optimal suction performance, periodically clean the suction cup.

• If the suction cup surface becomes dirty or loses its stickiness, rinse it with warm water.
• Allow the suction cup to air dry completely before re-applying it to any surface. Do not use a cloth or paper towel to dry it, as this may leave fibers that reduce adhesion.

6. Troubleshooting

• Suction cup not sticking firmly:
  • Ensure the mounting surface is clean, dry, and flat.
  • Rinse the suction cup with warm water and air dry to restore stickiness.
  • If mounting on a dashboard, consider using the provided 3M dashboard pad for enhanced adhesion.
• Phone not held securely:
  • Ensure the clamping arms are fully closed around your phone.
  • Verify that your phone's width is within the compatible range (4''-7'').
  • Check that the soft silicone pads are clean and free of debris.
• Mount wobbles or shakes:
  • Ensure the suction cup is firmly attached and the lock is engaged.
  • Verify that the stabilizer support piece is correctly positioned and adhered to the dashboard.
  • Tighten all nuts and joints on the mount.
