4. Setup and Assembly
Assembly requires two adults. No special tools are needed as all necessary hardware is included. Follow these steps carefully:
- Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging. Lay them out on a soft, clean surface to prevent scratching.
- Assemble Lower Bed: Attach the side rails to the headboard and footboard of the full-size bed. Secure all connections with the provided hardware. Do not fully tighten bolts until all components are aligned.
- Install Lower Bed Slats: Place the full-size bed slats across the side rails. Ensure they are evenly spaced and secured according to the instructions.
- Assemble Upper Bed: Repeat the process for the twin-size bed, attaching side rails to the headboard and footboard.
- Install Upper Bed Slats: Place the twin-size bed slats across the upper side rails.
- Attach Upper Bed to Lower Bed: Carefully lift the assembled twin bed and align it with the designated connection points on the full bed frame. Secure with the provided hardware. This step requires two adults.
