Important Safety Information
Please read all instructions carefully before using your Haden Heritage Blender. Failure to follow these instructions may result in electric shock, fire, or serious injury.
- Always unplug the blender from the power outlet when not in use, before assembling or disassembling parts, and before cleaning.
- Do not immerse the motor base in water or other liquids. Clean with a damp cloth only.
- Blades are sharp. Handle with extreme care when assembling, disassembling, or cleaning.
- Ensure the glass jar and lid are securely locked in place before operating the blender.
- Do not blend hot liquids that exceed the maximum fill line, as this may cause pressure buildup and result in injury.
- Keep hands and utensils out of the jar while blending to prevent injury and damage to the appliance.
- This appliance is for household use only. Do not use outdoors.
- Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or after the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner.
Setup and Assembly
Before first use, wash all parts that will come into contact with food (glass jar, lid, and blades) in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry.
1. Place the Motor Base
Place the blender motor base on a clean, dry, and stable surface. The base features anti-slip feet for stability during operation.

2. Secure the Glass Jar
Carefully place the glass jar onto the motor base. Ensure the arrows on the jar and the base align, then twist the jar clockwise until it securely locks into place. This dual safety lock mechanism prevents operation if the jar is not correctly seated.

Operating Instructions
1. Add Ingredients
With the blender unplugged, add your desired ingredients to the glass jar. Do not exceed the maximum fill line indicated on the jar. For best results, add liquids first, followed by soft ingredients, then harder ingredients, and finally ice or frozen items.
2. Select Speed Setting
Plug the blender into a standard 2-prong US outlet. Use the control dial on the front of the motor base to select one of the 5 available speeds (1-5). Start with a lower speed and gradually increase as needed for desired consistency.

3. Using the Pulse Function
For short bursts of power, such as crushing ice or chopping ingredients, turn the dial to the "P" (Pulse) setting and hold it. Release the dial to stop. This function provides maximum power for tough tasks.
- Do not continuously operate the blender for more than 60 seconds at a time. Allow it to rest for a few minutes between cycles to prevent overheating.
- If ingredients are not blending evenly, turn off the blender, remove the lid, and use a spatula to push ingredients towards the blades. Never use your hands.
- For thicker mixtures, you may need to add more liquid to achieve desired consistency.
Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your blender. Always unplug the blender before cleaning.
1. Cleaning the Glass Jar, Lid, and Blades
The glass jug, lid, and blades are dishwasher safe for convenient cleaning. For manual cleaning, disassemble these parts and wash them in warm, soapy water. Use caution when handling the sharp blades.

3. Storage
Store the assembled blender in a dry place. Ensure the power cord is neatly wrapped and not kinked.
