2. Safety Information

To ensure safe operation and prevent damage, please observe the following safety precautions:

  • Do not look directly into the projector lens when the lamp is on. The bright light can cause eye damage.
  • Do not block the ventilation openings. Proper ventilation is essential to prevent overheating.
  • Do not place the projector on unstable surfaces.
  • Do not expose the projector to rain, moisture, or extreme temperatures.
  • Use only the power adapter supplied with the projector.

4. Product Overview

4.1. Ports and Connections

  • Power Input: Connect the power cable here.

5. Setup

5.1. Placement

The projector can be placed on a flat surface or mounted on the ceiling. Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the projector.

  • For ceiling mounting, use a compatible projector mount (not included).
  • Position the projector to project onto a flat, light-colored surface or a projector screen.

5.2. Initial Power On

  1. Connect the power cable to the projector's power input and then to a power outlet.
  2. Press the power button on the projector or the remote control to turn it on.

5.3. Connectivity

The WISELAZER A30 supports various connection methods:

5.3.1. HDMI/USB Connection

  • Connect your device (e.g., laptop, TV box, game console) to one of the HDMI ports using an HDMI cable.
  • For USB drives, insert the USB drive into a USB port.
  • Select the corresponding input source from the projector's menu.

5.3.2. WiFi Connection (Screen Mirroring)

The projector supports 5G WiFi for screen mirroring from smartphones via Miracast or Mirroring.

  1. Navigate to the WiFi/Screen Mirroring section in the projector's menu.
  2. Ensure your smartphone is connected to the same WiFi network as the projector.
  3. Activate the screen mirroring function on your smartphone (e.g., "Smart View" on Android, "Screen Mirroring" on iOS).
  4. Select the projector from the list of available devices.

5.3.3. Bluetooth Connection (Audio Output)

Connect external Bluetooth speakers for enhanced audio.

  1. Go to the Bluetooth settings in the projector's menu.
  2. Put your Bluetooth speaker into pairing mode.
  3. Select your speaker from the list of discovered devices on the projector.

5.4. Image Adjustment (Focus and Keystone)

Adjust the image for optimal clarity and shape.

5.4.1. Focus Adjustment

  • Rotate the focus ring on the projector lens until the image appears sharp and clear.

5.4.2. Keystone Correction

The projector features 4-point keystone correction and ±45° keystone correction to adjust distorted images into a perfect rectangle.

  • Use the remote control to access the keystone correction settings.
  • Adjust the four corners of the projected image individually to achieve a rectangular shape.

6. Operating

6.1. Basic Operation

  • Power On/Off: Press the power button on the projector or remote.
  • Navigation: Use the arrow keys and OK button on the remote to navigate menus.
  • Source Selection: Press the "Source" button on the remote to switch between HDMI, USB, and other inputs.

6.2. Zoom Function

The zoom function allows you to reduce the image size from 100% to 50% without moving the projector.

  • Access the zoom setting via the projector's menu or a dedicated button on the remote control.
  • Adjust the zoom level as needed.

7. Maintenance

7.1. Dust Filter Cleaning

The projector is equipped with a built-in dust filter to prevent internal dust accumulation. Regular cleaning is recommended to maintain image quality and extend product life.

  1. Locate the dust filter on the side of the projector.
  2. Open the lid and pull down to take out the filter.
  3. Clean the filter using a soft brush or a vacuum cleaner.
  4. Reinsert the filter securely.

7.2. General Cleaning

  • Wipe the projector's exterior with a soft, dry cloth.
  • For the lens, use a lens cleaning cloth and specialized lens cleaning solution. Do not use abrasive cleaners.

8. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your projector, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
