Familiarize yourself with the radio's components and controls:

  • Speaker: Front-facing audio output.
  • LCD Display: Shows frequency, time, battery level, and mode.
  • VOL-/VOL+: Volume adjustment buttons. Also used to select saved stations.

Setup

  1. Connect the provided USB charging cable to the DC 5V Charging Jack on the radio.
  2. Connect the other end of the USB cable to a USB power source (e.g., computer USB port, USB wall adapter, power bank).
  3. The battery icon on the LCD screen will indicate charging status.
  4. A full charge typically takes 3-4 hours. The battery indicator will show full when charging is complete.

Note: The radio has a built-in 500mAh rechargeable lithium battery, providing over 12 hours of continuous playback on a full charge.

Inserting a TF Card

  1. Locate the TF card jack on the side of the radio.
  2. Insert a TF (MicroSD) card with the metal contacts facing down until it clicks into place.
  3. Ensure your audio files are in MP3 or WAV format. The radio supports TF cards up to 128GB.

Operating Instructions

Power On/Off and Mode Selection
  1. To power on the radio, slide the Function Switch to either the "FM" or "MP3" position.
  2. To power off the radio, slide the Function Switch to the "OFF" position.
  3. To switch between FM radio and MP3 player mode, use the Function Switch.

  1. Band Selection: In radio mode, press the BAND/SCAN/TIME button repeatedly to cycle through FM, AM (MW), and Shortwave (SW) bands.
  2. Automatic Tuning Storage (ATS): To automatically scan and save available stations, press and hold the BAND/SCAN/TIME button. The radio will scan and store up to 90 stations (20 FM, 20 AM, 50 SW).
  3. Manual Tuning: Briefly press the TUN+ or TUN- buttons to fine-tune the frequency step by step. Press and hold TUN+ or TUN- to automatically scan for the next available station.
  4. Recalling Saved Stations: After performing ATS, briefly press the VOL+ or VOL- buttons to cycle through the saved stations.
  5. Antenna: For optimal FM and SW reception, extend the pull rod antenna fully. For AM reception, the internal antenna is generally sufficient, but rotating the radio may improve signal.
MP3 Player Operation
  1. Ensure a TF card with MP3/WAV audio files is inserted.
  2. Slide the Function Switch to the "MP3" position. The radio will automatically start playing the first track on the TF card.
  3. Next Track: Briefly press the TUN- button.
  4. Previous Track: Briefly press the TUN+ button.
  5. Play/Pause: (Functionality may vary, typically a short press of a central button or the power button if available in MP3 mode).
Volume Adjustment
  1. Press the VOL+ button to increase the volume.
  2. Press the VOL- button to decrease the volume.

Insert any standard 3.5mm stereo headphones into the headphone jack for private listening. The internal speaker will automatically mute when headphones are connected.

Maintenance

  • Clean the radio with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Avoid exposing the radio to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, or high humidity.
  • Do not disassemble the radio. This will void the warranty.
  • If not in use for a long period, charge the battery at least once every three months to maintain its lifespan.
