Controls and Connections:

• Display: LCD with 5-level dimmer.

Setup

1. Power Connection

1. Connect the provided power adapter to the DC 5V/2.0A input port on the back of the unit.
2. Plug the power adapter into a standard wall outlet.
3. The unit will power on automatically or enter standby mode.

2. Automatic Time Setting

The Soundmaster UR6600SW features automatic time setting. Upon initial power-up, the device will attempt to synchronize the time via DAB+ or FM-RDS signals. Ensure the antenna is properly extended for optimal reception.

3. Antenna

For best radio reception, fully extend the integrated wire antenna. Adjust its position to improve signal quality if needed.

Operating Instructions

1. Power On/Off

• Press the Power button to turn the unit on or off (standby mode).

2. Radio Modes (DAB+, FM)

• Press the SOURCE button to switch between DAB+ and FM radio modes.
• In DAB+ mode, the radio will automatically scan for available stations. Use the Up/Down buttons to navigate through the station list.
• In FM mode, use the Up/Down buttons to tune to frequencies. Press and hold to auto-scan for the next available station.

3. Station Presets

The unit supports 20 DAB+ and 20 FM station presets.

1. To Store a Preset: Tune to the desired station. Press and hold the PRESET button. Use the Up/Down buttons to select a preset number, then press SELECT to confirm.
2. To Recall a Preset: Press the PRESET button briefly. Use the Up/Down buttons to select the desired preset, then press SELECT.

4. Alarm Settings

The device features two independent alarms with a weekend function.

1. Press the MENU button and navigate to "Alarm Settings" using the Up/Down buttons. Press SELECT.
2. Select "Alarm 1" or "Alarm 2".
3. Set the desired alarm time, alarm source (radio or buzzer), and volume.
4. Configure the alarm frequency (daily, weekdays, weekends, or specific days).
5. Ensure the alarm is set to "ON".

5. Snooze Function

• When an alarm sounds, press the SNOOZE/DIMMER button to temporarily silence the alarm for a set period (e.g., 9 minutes). The alarm will sound again after the snooze period.

6. Sleep Timer

The sleep function allows the radio to play for a set duration before automatically turning off.

• Press the SLEEP button repeatedly to cycle through available sleep timer durations (e.g., 15, 30, 45, 60, 90 minutes, or OFF).

7. Night Light

The integrated night light offers continuously variable brightness.

• Press the dedicated Night Light button (often marked with a light bulb icon) to turn the night light on/off.
• To adjust brightness, press and hold the Night Light button or use specific brightness controls if available (refer to the device's physical buttons for exact labeling).

8. USB Charging

• Connect your USB-powered device (e.g., smartphone, tablet) to the USB CHARGING port on the back of the unit.
• The unit will provide power to charge the connected device.

9. Display Dimmer

• Press the SNOOZE/DIMMER button (or a dedicated DIMMER button) repeatedly to cycle through the 5 available display brightness levels.

Maintenance

Cleaning

• Before cleaning, disconnect the power adapter from the wall outlet.
• Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the exterior of the unit.
• Do not use liquid cleaners, aerosols, or abrasive materials, as these may damage the finish.

Storage

• If storing the unit for an extended period, disconnect it from the power supply.
• Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
