3. Setup

3.1 Battery Installation

  1. Locate the battery compartment on one of the earcup housings.
  2. Gently slide or lift the battery compartment cover to open it.
  3. Insert two (2) AA batteries (not included) into the compartment, ensuring the correct polarity (+ and -) as indicated inside the compartment.
  4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

3.2 Initial Power On

Press and hold the power button (usually marked with a ⚡ symbol) on the earcup for a few seconds until the LCD display illuminates. The radio will typically power on to the last tuned FM frequency.

3.3 Adjusting the Headband

The headband is adjustable to fit various head sizes. Gently slide the earcups up or down along the headband until a comfortable and secure fit is achieved.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Radio Tuning

  1. Automatic Search: Press the 'SCAN' button to automatically search for available FM stations. The radio will scan and stop at the next strong signal.
  2. Manual Tuning: Use the 'CH+' or 'CH-' buttons to manually tune to specific frequencies.
  3. Antenna: Extend the telescopic antenna fully for optimal FM reception.

4.2 Volume Control

Use the 'V+' button to increase the volume and the 'V-' button to decrease it. Adjust to a comfortable listening level.

The HRD-600 supports saving one favorite FM station. To save a station:

  2. Press and hold the 'MEM' (Memory) button until the display indicates the station has been saved.

To recall the saved station, briefly press the 'MEM' button.

4.5 Wired Headset Mode (AUX)

  1. Connect one end of the included 3.5mm audio cable to the AUX input jack on the HRD-600 headphones.
  2. Connect the other end of the audio cable to the audio output jack of your smartphone, PC, tablet, or other audio device.
  3. The headphones will automatically switch to wired mode.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning

To clean your headphones, use a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or strong chemicals, as these may damage the surface or internal components. For the earmuffs, a slightly damp cloth can be used, but ensure no moisture enters the speaker grilles.
