Remote Control

The remote control allows you to access all functions of the receiver. Insert the two AAA batteries into the remote control before use. Key functions include Power, TV/Radio mode, Audio, Mute, Channel Up/Down, Volume Up/Down, Menu, EPG, Info, Zoom, FAV (Favorites), Timer, Record, and numeric buttons for direct channel input.

Setup Instructions

1. Connect the Antenna: Connect your digital TV antenna (indoor or outdoor) to the "ANT IN" port on the rear panel of the receiver. For optimal signal reception, outdoor antennas generally perform better and should be positioned as high as possible.
2. Connect to TV:
   • HDMI Connection (Recommended): Use an HDMI cable (not included) to connect the "HDMI Output" port on the receiver to an HDMI input port on your television.
   • RCA Connection: Use the provided RCA cable to connect the "VIDEO", "L", and "R" audio output ports on the receiver to the corresponding input ports on your television.
3. Power On: Connect the power adapter to the receiver's power input and then plug it into an electrical outlet. The receiver will power on.
4. Select TV Input: On your television, select the correct input source (e.g., HDMI 1, AV) that corresponds to the connection you made in step 2.

Operating Instructions

Initial Setup and Channel Scan

1. Upon first power-on, the receiver will guide you through an initial setup process. Follow the on-screen prompts to select your language and country.
2. The receiver will then prompt you to perform an Automatic Channel Search. Confirm to start scanning for available digital channels. This process may take several minutes.
3. Once the scan is complete, the receiver will save the found channels and display the first available channel. The number of channels received depends on your geographical location and antenna quality.
4. To perform a Manual Channel Search, navigate to the "Channel Search" menu in the main settings.

Real-time Program Recording

To record a live program, connect a USB storage device (e.g., USB flash drive or external hard drive) to one of the USB ports on the receiver. Press the REC button on the remote control to start recording the current program. Press it again to stop recording. Recorded programs can be accessed and played back from the "Media" menu.

Electronic Program Guide (EPG)

Press the EPG button on the remote control to view the Electronic Program Guide. This guide provides information about current and upcoming programs for all available channels. You can navigate through channels and times to see program details and set recording timers.

Favorite Channels

You can create a list of your favorite channels for quick access. Go to the "Channel" menu, select "Favorite Channel List", and add your preferred channels. Press the FAV button on the remote to switch between your favorite lists.

Parental Controls

The receiver includes parental control features to restrict access to certain channels or programs based on age ratings. Access the "Parental Control" settings in the main menu to set up a password and configure restrictions.

Media Playback

Insert a USB storage device containing media files (videos, photos, music) into a USB port. Press the Media button on the remote control to access the media player. You can browse and play your files directly on your TV.
