Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Jump starter not turning on Low battery or completely discharged. Charge the jump starter fully.
Vehicle not starting Incorrect clamp connection; clamps not making good contact; vehicle battery too deeply discharged; engine size exceeds device capacity. Check that clamps are connected correctly (red to +, black to -) and firmly to battery terminals. Ensure the smart cable indicator is solid green. If the battery is extremely low, try waiting a few minutes after connecting before starting. Verify your vehicle's engine size is within the specified limits (7.0L Gas / 5.5L Diesel).
Smart cable indicator flashing/buzzing Reverse polarity connection; short circuit; over-temperature. Immediately disconnect clamps and re-check connections. Ensure no metal parts are touching. If the device is hot, allow it to cool down before attempting to use again.
USB devices not charging Jump starter battery low; incorrect USB cable; device not compatible. Ensure the jump starter has sufficient charge. Try a different USB cable. Confirm your device is compatible with the output specifications.
