  • Hot Wax Safety: Paraffin wax can reach high temperatures. Always test the wax temperature on a small area of your skin (e.g., wrist) before full immersion to avoid burns. Do not immerse body parts with open wounds, infections, or severe skin conditions.
  • Avoid Contact with Eyes: If wax comes into contact with eyes, rinse immediately with cold water and seek medical attention.
  • Children and Pets: Keep the machine out of reach of children and pets, especially when in operation or cooling.
  • Ventilation: Use in a well-ventilated area.
  • Supervision: Never leave the machine unattended while heating wax.

Image 4.1: The control panel features a digital display, temperature/time adjustment buttons, a set button, and an ON/OFF button.

Melting the Wax:

  1. Press the ON/OFF button to turn on the machine.
  2. The machine offers two working modes: Temperature Heating Mode and Timed Heating Mode.
  3. Temperature Heating Mode: Press the 'SET' button to toggle to this mode. Use the '+' and '-' buttons to adjust the temperature from 86°F to 185°F (30°C to 85°C). The machine will heat to and maintain the set temperature.
  4. Timed Heating Mode: Press the 'SET' button again to toggle to this mode. Use the '+' and '-' buttons to set the heating time from 1 to 99 minutes. The machine will automatically heat the wax during this period.
  5. It takes approximately 50 minutes to completely melt 2 lbs of wax at 185°F. Wait until the wax is fully melted and the digital display reaches 50°C (122°F), indicated by three 'Di, Di, Di' sounds, before proceeding.

Applying the Wax Treatment:

  1. Once the wax is melted and at a safe, comfortable temperature, place the heat insulating grid into the basin.
  2. Slowly dip your hand, foot, or elbow into the melted wax. Remove it for a few seconds, allowing the wax to solidify slightly, then re-dip. Repeat this process 3-5 times to build up a thick layer of wax.
  3. Immediately after the final dip, cover the treated area with a disposable PE mitt or bootie.
  4. For enhanced heat retention, place a cotton mitt or bootie over the disposable layer.
  5. Relax and allow the wax to work for approximately 10-15 minutes.
  6. After the recommended time, remove the cotton mitt/bootie, then peel off the wax and disposable liner. The wax should come off easily, leaving your skin feeling soft and smooth.

6. Maintenance

Cleaning the Machine:

  1. Ensure the machine is unplugged and completely cooled before cleaning.
  2. Remove any remaining solid wax. You can reheat the wax slightly to soften it for easier removal, then turn off and unplug the machine before scraping.
  3. Wipe the interior and exterior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the unit in water.
  4. The spacious design of the basin facilitates easy cleaning.

Wax Reuse:

For personal use, the paraffin wax can typically be reused 2-4 times. It is recommended to replace the wax regularly for hygiene and optimal performance.

7. Troubleshooting

  • Wax not melting or melting slowly: Ensure the machine is plugged in and turned on. Verify the temperature setting is appropriate (e.g., 185°F for initial melting). Allow sufficient time for the wax to melt; 2 lbs of wax can take up to 50 minutes at maximum temperature.
  • Machine not turning on: Check the power connection and ensure the outlet is functional.
  • Wax too hot/cold: Adjust the temperature using the '+' and '-' buttons. Always test the wax temperature before application. The digital display shows the set temperature, not necessarily the actual temperature during the reservation option.
  • Machine slides during operation: Ensure the machine is placed on a stable, non-slip surface.
