1. Product Overview

The PETLIBRO Automatic Pet Feeder is designed to provide convenient and consistent feeding for your cats and small to medium-sized dogs. 2. Safety Precautions

  • Always place the feeder on a stable, level surface.
  • Do not immerse the main unit in water. Only detachable parts are washable.
  • Keep out of reach of children and pets when not in use or during cleaning.
  • Use only dry pet food with a diameter between 2-15mm to prevent clogging.
  • Ensure the power adapter is securely connected. For backup power, use D-cell alkaline batteries (not included).

3. Setup Guide

3.1 Unpacking and Assembly

  1. Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
  2. Lift the food tank from the base unit by pulling it up along the notch.
  3. Remove the food tray and accessories from the packaging.
  4. Place the desiccant bag into its designated compartment under the lid to maintain food freshness.
  5. Attach the food tray to the base unit. Ensure the stainless steel bowl is placed correctly within the tray.
  6. Connect the power adapter to the feeder and a wall outlet. Insert 3 D-cell alkaline batteries (not included) into the battery compartment for backup power.
  7. Fill the food tank with dry pet food. Ensure the food size is between 2-15mm.
  8. Securely close the twist-lock lid to preserve freshness and prevent pets from accessing food.

3.2 Initial Power On and Time Setting

Upon first power-on, the display will show the current time. If not, or to adjust, follow these steps:

  • Press and hold the unlock button (🔒) for 3 seconds to unlock the panel.
  • Press the settings button (). The hour display will flash.
  • Use the plus (+) or minus (-) buttons to adjust the hour. Press settings () again to confirm.
  • The minute display will flash. Use the plus (+) or minus (-) buttons to adjust the minutes. Press settings () to save.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Programming Meal Times and Portions

The feeder allows up to 6 meals per day, with 1-50 portions per meal.

  • Press and hold the unlock button (🔒) for 3 seconds to unlock the panel.
  • Press the settings button () repeatedly until the desired meal icon (1-6) flashes.
  • Once the meal icon flashes, press settings (). The hour display for that meal will flash.
  • Use the plus (+) or minus (-) buttons to set the hour. Press settings () to confirm.
  • The minute display will flash. Use the plus (+) or minus (-) buttons to set the minutes. Press settings () to confirm.
  • The portion display will flash. Use the plus (+) or minus (-) buttons to set the number of portions (1-50). Press settings () to save.
  • Repeat for all desired meals.

4.2 Recording a Meal Call

You can record a 10-second voice message to call your pet at meal times.

  • Press and hold the unlock button (🔒) for 3 seconds to unlock the panel.
  • Press the microphone button (🎤). After a beep, begin recording your message.
  • Press the microphone button (🎤) again to stop recording. A "DiDi" sound confirms successful recording.
  • The recorded message will play automatically during scheduled meal times.

4.3 Setting Playback Times for Meal Call

You can set how many times the meal call plays per feeding.

  • Press and hold the unlock button (🔒) for 3 seconds to unlock the panel.
  • Press the settings button () repeatedly until the playback icon flashes.
  • Use the plus (+) or minus (-) buttons to set the number of playback times (e.g., 1, 2, or 3 times).
  • Press settings () to save.

4.4 Manual Feeding

To dispense food manually:

  • Press and hold the unlock button (🔒) for 3 seconds to unlock the panel.
  • Press the manual feed button (🐶). One portion of food will be dispensed.
  • Repeat as needed for additional portions.

5. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures hygiene and extends the life of your feeder.

  • Unplug the feeder and remove any batteries before cleaning.
  • The food tank, stainless steel bowl, and food tray are detachable and washable. Wash them with mild soap and water, then rinse thoroughly and dry completely before reassembling.
  • The main unit (base with electronics) is NOT washable. Wipe it clean with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
  • Replace the desiccant bag every 2-4 weeks for optimal freshness preservation.

6. Troubleshooting

6.1 Resetting All Settings

To clear all programmed settings and return to factory defaults:

  • Press and hold both the plus (+) and minus (-) buttons simultaneously for 5 seconds.
  • The display will reset, indicating that all settings have been cleared.
