1. Introduction

Thank you for purchasing the QFX BT-65 Portable Bluetooth Speaker. This manual provides important information regarding the setup, operation, and maintenance of your new speaker. Please read it thoroughly before using the device to ensure proper functionality and to maximize your listening experience.

2. Safety Information

Please observe the following safety precautions to prevent damage to the device or injury to yourself:

  • Do not expose the speaker to extreme temperatures, humidity, or direct sunlight.
  • This product is not waterproof. Avoid contact with water or other liquids.
  • Do not disassemble, repair, or modify the unit yourself. Refer all servicing to qualified personnel.
  • Keep the speaker away from heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other apparatus (including amplifiers) that produce heat.
  • Use only the specified charging cable and power source.
  • Ensure proper ventilation around the speaker during use.

4. Controls and Features

Control Panel Overview:

  • POWER OFF/ON/VOLUME Knob: Rotates to turn the unit ON/OFF and adjust the master volume.
  • DC IN 5V: Power input port for charging the speaker using the provided USB cable.
  • USB Port: Insert a USB flash drive for MP3 playback.
  • MODE/LED ON: Press to switch between input modes (Bluetooth, FM, USB, AUX). Press and hold to turn the LED party lights ON/OFF.
  • PREV/K44: Press to go to the previous track (in Bluetooth/USB mode) or previous FM station.
  • PLAY/PAUSE/TWS: Press to play or pause audio. Press and hold to activate True Wireless Stereo (TWS) pairing mode.
  • NEXT/>>: Press to go to the next track (in Bluetooth/USB mode) or next FM station.
  • MIC.IN: 6.35mm input for connecting a microphone.
  • AUX.IN: 3.5mm auxiliary input for connecting external audio devices.
  • CHARGE LED: Indicator light for charging status.
  • Display: Shows current mode (e.g., "BLUE" for Bluetooth) and other information.

5. Setup

5.1 Charging the Speaker

  1. Connect the small end of the included USB charging cable to the DC IN 5V port on the speaker.
  2. Connect the large end of the USB cable to a compatible USB power adapter (not included) or a computer USB port.
  3. The CHARGE LED indicator will illuminate during charging. It will turn off or change color once fully charged (behavior may vary by unit).
  4. Allow sufficient time for a full charge before first use.

5.2 Powering On/Off

  • To turn the speaker ON, rotate the POWER OFF/ON/VOLUME knob clockwise until it clicks and the display illuminates.
  • To turn the speaker OFF, rotate the POWER OFF/ON/VOLUME knob counter-clockwise until it clicks and the display turns off.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Bluetooth Mode

  1. Turn on the speaker. It will automatically enter Bluetooth mode, indicated by "BLUE" on the display and an audible prompt.
  2. Enable Bluetooth on your mobile device (smartphone, tablet, etc.).
  3. Search for available Bluetooth devices and select "QFX BT-65" from the list.
  4. Once paired, you will hear a confirmation sound. You can now play audio from your device through the speaker.
  5. Use the PREV/K44, PLAY/PAUSE/TWS, and NEXT/>> buttons on the speaker or your device to control playback.

6.2 True Wireless Stereo (TWS) Pairing

TWS allows you to connect two BT-65 speakers together for a stereo sound experience.

  1. Ensure both BT-65 speakers are turned ON and in Bluetooth mode.
  2. On one of the speakers (this will be the primary unit), press and hold the PLAY/PAUSE/TWS button for a few seconds until you hear a pairing sound.
  3. The two speakers will automatically connect to each other. Once connected, you will hear a confirmation sound.
  4. Now, connect your mobile device to the primary speaker via Bluetooth as described in section 6.1.
  5. Audio will now play in stereo through both speakers.

6.3 FM Radio Mode

  1. Turn on the speaker and press the MODE button repeatedly until you enter FM Radio mode. The display will show the FM frequency.
  2. Press the PLAY/PAUSE/TWS button once to auto-scan and save available FM stations. The speaker will scan and store stations automatically.
  3. Use the PREV/K44 and NEXT/>> buttons to navigate between saved stations.

6.4 USB Playback

  1. Insert a USB flash drive containing MP3 audio files into the USB port.
  2. The speaker will automatically switch to USB mode and begin playing the first compatible audio file. If not, press the MODE button to select USB mode.
  3. Use the PREV/K44, PLAY/PAUSE/TWS, and NEXT/>> buttons to control playback.

6.5 Auxiliary Input (AUX) Mode

  1. Connect one end of a 3.5mm audio cable (not included) to the AUX.IN port on the speaker.
  2. Connect the other end of the audio cable to the headphone jack or audio output of your external device (e.g., MP3 player, computer).
  3. Press the MODE button repeatedly until you enter AUX mode.
  4. Control audio playback directly from your external device.

6.6 Microphone Usage

  1. Connect a wired microphone (not included) to the MIC.IN port on the speaker.
  2. Adjust the master VOLUME knob on the speaker to control the microphone's output level.
  3. The microphone input can be used simultaneously with other audio sources (Bluetooth, USB, AUX).

6.7 LED Party Lights

  • To turn the LED party lights ON or OFF, press and hold the MODE/LED ON button for a few seconds.

7. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the speaker. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Storage: When not in use for extended periods, store the speaker in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Battery Care: To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. Charge the speaker regularly, even if not in use.

8. Troubleshooting
