Introduction
This manual provides detailed instructions for the assembly, operation, and maintenance of your LUCID King Bedframe with Vertical Channeled Headboard. Please read all instructions carefully before beginning assembly and retain this manual for future reference.
The LUCID King Bedframe features a black upholstered design with a vertical channeled headboard. It is designed for use with a King size mattress and does not require a box spring due to its wooden slat support system. The frame also offers under-bed storage space.
Safety Information
- Do not exceed the maximum weight limit of 600 pounds.
- Exercise caution to avoid pinch points during the assembly of the metal support bar and other components.
- Ensure all screws and bolts are securely tightened before use.
- Keep small parts away from children during assembly.
Package Contents
Your LUCID King Bedframe package includes the following components:
- Headboard with vertical channeling
- Upholstered side rails
- Footboard
- Wooden slats
- Center support rail with adjustable feet
- Hardware kit (screws, bolts, washers, Allen wrench)
- Assembly instructions
Note: A Phillips-Head screwdriver is required for assembly but is not included.
Setup and Assembly
Assembly typically takes approximately one hour with two people. Follow these steps for proper setup:
- Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging and lay them out on a clean, soft surface to prevent scratches. Verify all components listed in the 'Package Contents' section are present.
- Attach Headboard Legs: Secure the headboard legs to the headboard using the provided hardware.
- Attach Side Rails: Connect the upholstered side rails to the headboard and footboard using the bolts and Allen wrench. Ensure the connections are snug but do not overtighten initially.
- Assemble Center Support Rail: Attach the adjustable feet to the center support rail. Position the center support rail within the bedframe and secure it to the headboard and footboard. Adjust the feet to ensure even support.
- Install Wooden Slats: Place the wooden slats across the side rails. The slats are designed to provide direct support for your mattress, eliminating the need for a box spring. Secure the slats to the side rails using the provided screws. Some slats may have pre-drilled holes for this purpose.
- Final Tightening: Once all components are in place, go back and securely tighten all bolts and screws.

Operating Instructions
The LUCID King Bedframe is designed for straightforward use once assembled.
- Mattress Placement: Place your King size mattress directly onto the wooden slats. A box spring is not required.
- Adjustable Base Compatibility: The removable wooden slats make this bedframe compatible with most traditional and zero-clearance adjustable bed bases. If using an adjustable base, remove the wooden slats before placing the adjustable base within the frame.
- Under-bed Storage: The design provides space underneath the bed for storage.

Maintenance
To maintain the appearance and longevity of your bedframe:
- Cleaning: For spot cleaning the upholstered fabric, use a mild detergent and a damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Regular Inspection: Periodically check all bolts and screws to ensure they remain tight. Retighten if necessary to maintain stability.
- Avoid Excessive Weight: Do not place excessive weight on the bedframe beyond the 600-pound limit.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues during assembly or use, refer to the following common solutions:
- Difficulty Aligning Holes: If screw holes do not align, loosen all previously tightened bolts slightly. This may provide enough flexibility to align the current parts. Once aligned, tighten all connections.
- Missing Parts: Double-check all packaging materials, including any wrapped bundles of wooden slats, as smaller components or slats may be concealed. If parts are genuinely missing, contact customer support.
- Bedframe Instability/Squeaking: Ensure all bolts and screws are fully tightened. Verify that the center support rail's adjustable feet are making firm contact with the floor and are evenly supporting the frame.
- Mattress Does Not Fit: Confirm you have a King size mattress for this King size bedframe. Review the product dimensions to ensure compatibility.
