4. Setup
4.1. SIM Card Installation
- Ensure the router is powered off.
- Locate the SIM card slot on the rear panel of the device (refer to Figure 3.2).
- Insert your LTE/4G/3G SIM card into the slot until it clicks into place. Ensure the SIM card is oriented correctly according to the diagram near the slot.
4.2. Power Connection
- Connect the power adapter to the router's power input port.
- Plug the power adapter into a standard electrical outlet.
- The router will power on automatically. Wait for the indicator lights to stabilize, which may take a few minutes.
4.3. Initial Configuration
- Connect your computer or mobile device to the router via Wi-Fi (using the default SSID and password found on the router's label) or via an Ethernet cable to one of the LAN ports.
- Open a web browser and navigate to the router's default IP address (usually
192.168.1.1or192.168.0.1). Refer to the Quick Start Guide for the exact address. - Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the initial setup, including setting up your Wi-Fi network name (SSID) and password, and administrative password.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1. Connecting Devices
Wi-Fi Connection:
- On your device, search for available Wi-Fi networks.
- Select your router's Wi-Fi network name (SSID).
- Enter your Wi-Fi password when prompted.
Ethernet Connection:
- Connect one end of an Ethernet cable to a LAN port on the router.
- Connect the other end of the Ethernet cable to the Ethernet port on your device (e.g., computer, gaming console).
5.2. Parental Controls
The Keenetic Runner 4G N300 includes effective parental control tools. These features allow you to manage internet access times, block specific websites, and filter content for connected devices. Access these settings through the router's web interface or the Keenetic mobile application.
5.3. Mesh Network Integration
