3. Setup

3.1. Charging the Device

Before first use, fully charge the water flosser. Connect the USB charging cable to the device's charging port and plug the other end into a compatible USB power adapter (not included). The charge indicator light will show charging status. A full charge takes approximately 5 hours and provides up to 65 days of use.

3.2. Attaching a Nozzle

  1. Select the desired nozzle (Standard, Orthodontic, Periodontal, or Tongue Scraper).
  2. Insert the nozzle into the hole at the top of the flosser unit until it clicks into place.
  3. To remove, press the nozzle release button (usually located on the side or back of the unit) and pull the nozzle out.

3.3. Filling the Water Tank

The SG-833W features a 200ML detachable water tank for easy filling.

  1. Remove the water tank from the main unit by twisting or pulling it down, depending on the design.
  2. Fill the tank with lukewarm water. You may also use a non-abrasive, non-corrosive mouthwash if recommended by your dentist.
  3. Reattach the water tank securely to the main unit.

4.1. Selecting a Mode

The device offers three cleaning modes:

  • Daily (Gentle): Continuous water spray, suitable for first-time users and sensitive gums.
  • High (Clean): Continuous high-pressure water spray for efficient and deep cleaning, suitable for most users.
  • Pulse (Massage): 3 times per second pulsed water spray for deep cleaning and gum massage.

Press the mode button to cycle through the modes. The corresponding indicator light will illuminate.

4.2. Using the Water Flosser

  1. Lean over a sink and place the nozzle tip into your mouth, aiming it at your gumline.
  2. Press the power button to turn on the device.
  3. Start with the lowest pressure setting (Daily mode) and gradually increase as you become comfortable.
  4. Guide the water jet along your gumline, pausing briefly between teeth. Allow the water to flow into the sink.
  5. For best results, follow the contours of your teeth and gums.
  6. The device has a 2-minute timer to ensure adequate cleaning.
  7. After use, press the power button to turn off the device.

5. Maintenance

5.1. Cleaning the Unit
