Setup

1. Battery Installation

1. Locate the battery compartment cover on the bottom or back of the lantern.
2. Open the cover by sliding or unscrewing it.
3. Insert 3 x AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
4. Replace the battery compartment cover securely.

2. USB Power Connection (Optional)

• Alternatively, you can power the lantern using the provided USB cable.
• Plug the small end of the USB cable into the USB port on the lantern.
• Plug the larger end of the USB cable into a compatible USB power adapter (not included) or a USB port on a computer.
• Note: When using USB power, batteries are not required.

3. Placement

Place the lantern on a flat, stable surface indoors, away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and moisture. Ensure it is not easily knocked over.

Operating Instructions

On/Off Switch and Timer Function

The lantern features a multi-position switch, typically located on the bottom or side of the unit.

1. OFF: Slide the switch to the "OFF" position to turn off the lantern completely.
2. ON: Slide the switch to the "ON" position to activate the light and water swirling effect continuously.
3. TIMER (5H): Slide the switch to the "TIMER" position to activate the built-in 5-hour timer. The lantern will illuminate for 5 hours, then automatically turn off for 19 hours, and repeat this cycle daily.

The lantern uses a single warm white LED to illuminate the internal scene, creating a festive glow.

Maintenance

• Cleaning: Wipe the exterior of the lantern with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the product in water.
• Battery Replacement: When the light dims or the water swirling effect weakens, replace all three AA batteries with new ones, following the installation steps in the Setup section.
• Storage: If storing the lantern for an extended period, remove the batteries to prevent potential leakage and store in a cool, dry place.
