Safety Information

  • Do not immerse the scale base in water or other liquids. The stainless steel bowl is removable and washable.
  • Clean the scale with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
  • Place the scale on a hard, flat, and stable surface for accurate measurements.
  • Avoid exposing the scale to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, or high humidity.

Setup

  1. Install Batteries: Open the battery compartment on the underside of the scale. Insert the two included AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Close the compartment securely.
  2. Placement: Place the scale on a hard, flat, and level surface. Uneven surfaces can affect accuracy.
  3. Initial Power On: Press the ZERO/Power button to turn on the scale. The display will show "8888" and then "0 g" or "0 lb:oz".

Operating Instructions

Power On/Off

  • To turn on the scale, press the ZERO/Power button.
  • To turn off the scale, press and hold the ZERO/Power button for 3 seconds. The scale also features an auto shut-off function after a period of inactivity to conserve battery life.

Unit Conversion

Your scale supports both imperial and metric units for solid and liquid measurements.

  • For Solid Units (g, lb:oz): Press the MODE button on the front of the scale to cycle between grams (g) and pounds:ounces (lb:oz).
  • For Liquid Units (ml, fl:oz): To switch between milliliters (ml) and fluid ounces (fl:oz), locate the UNIT button on the bottom of the scale. Press this button to toggle between these liquid measurement modes. Ensure you select the correct liquid type (water or milk) if applicable, as indicated on the display.

Tare Function (Zeroing)

The tare function allows you to weigh multiple ingredients in the same container or to exclude the weight of a container.

  1. Place an empty container (e.g., the stainless steel bowl) on the scale platform. The display will show its weight.
  2. Press the ZERO/Power button. The display will reset to "0".
  3. Add your ingredient to the container. The display will show only the weight of the ingredient.
  4. Repeat the tare process for additional ingredients if needed.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe the scale base with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaning pads. The stainless steel bowl is dishwasher safe or can be washed by hand with soap and water.
  • Storage: Store the scale in a cool, dry place. Avoid placing heavy objects on the scale when not in use.
  • Battery Replacement: When the battery indicator appears on the display, replace both AAA batteries with new ones.
