5. Setup and Operation
5.1 Installing the Battery
- Ensure the speaker is powered off.
- Align a charged RYOBI ONE+ 18V battery with the battery port on the bottom of the speaker.
- Slide the battery into the port until it clicks securely into place.
- To remove the battery, press the release latches on the battery and slide it out.
5.2 Powering On/Off
- Press and hold the Power button (
) located on the top panel for approximately 2 seconds. - A voice prompt will indicate "Power On" or "Power Off".
5.3 Bluetooth Pairing
- With the speaker powered on, the Bluetooth indicator light will flash, indicating it's in pairing mode.
- On your smartphone or tablet, enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
- Select "RYOBI Speaker" from the list of devices.
- Once connected, a voice prompt will confirm "Bluetooth Connected" and the indicator light will turn solid.
- To disconnect, press and hold the Bluetooth button for 3 seconds, or disconnect from your device's Bluetooth settings.
