4. Setup and Installation

Follow these steps to properly set up your Sintron RV Surge Protector:

1. Verify Power Pedestal: Ensure the RV power pedestal is turned OFF before connecting any devices. Inspect the receptacle for any visible damage or debris.
2. Connect Surge Protector: Plug the Sintron RV Surge Protector directly into the 50 Amp NEMA 14-50R receptacle on the RV power pedestal. Ensure it is firmly seated.

3. Connect RV Power Cord: Plug your RV's 50 Amp power cord into the female end of the Sintron RV Surge Protector. Make sure the connection is secure.

4. Activate Power: Once all connections are secure, turn ON the power at the RV pedestal.
5. Check LED Indicators: Observe the LED indicator lights on the surge protector.
   • "POWER" Light: Should illuminate green, indicating that power is flowing through the unit.
   • "SURGE" Light: Should illuminate green, indicating that the surge protection circuit is active and functional. If this light is off, the surge protection may be compromised or consumed by a significant surge.
