3. Setup

3.1 Physical Installation

The Lepro Floodlight Camera is designed for wall-mounted outdoor installation, requiring a junction box and hardwired electrical connection.

  1. Disconnect Power: Before starting, ensure the power to the junction box is turned off at the circuit breaker.
  2. Mounting Bracket: Attach the provided mounting bracket to your outdoor junction box using the included screws.
  3. Wiring: Connect the camera's wires to your household wiring. Typically, white to neutral, black to hot, and green/bare copper to ground. Use the provided wire nuts to secure connections.
  4. Secure Camera: Mount the floodlight camera to the installed bracket, ensuring all wires are tucked safely into the junction box. Tighten all screws securely.
  5. Restore Power: Once installation is complete and all connections are secure, restore power at the circuit breaker.

3.2 App Connection

To control your Lepro Floodlight Camera, download and set up the Lepro LampUX app.

  1. Download App: Search for "Lepro LampUX" in your smartphone's app store (iOS or Android) and download it.
  2. Register/Login: Open the app and register for a new account or log in if you already have one.
  3. Add Device: Follow the in-app instructions to add your new Floodlight Camera. Ensure your phone is connected to a 2.4G Wi-Fi network during this process. The camera only supports 2.4G Wi-Fi.
  4. Pairing: The app will guide you through the pairing process, which may involve scanning a QR code or listening for a prompt from the camera.
