Setup and Initial Operation

Your OLEVS automatic mechanical watch is powered by the motion of your wrist and does not require a battery. For initial setup or after a period of inactivity, follow these steps:

1. Initial Winding: If the watch has stopped, gently rotate the crown clockwise approximately 30-40 times while it is in the normal operating position (position 0). This will provide enough power reserve to start the movement.
2. Setting the Time: Pull the crown out to position 2. Rotate the crown to set the hour and minute hands. Push the crown back to position 0 when finished.
3. Setting the Date: Pull the crown out to position 1. Rotate the crown clockwise to adjust the date. Push the crown back to position 0 when finished. Avoid setting the date between 9 PM and 3 AM, as this can damage the movement.
4. Setting the Day of the Week: Use the dedicated button on the side of the watch (typically located at the 2 o'clock position) to advance the day of the week. Press repeatedly until the correct day is displayed.
5. Setting the Moon Phase: Use the dedicated button on the side of the watch (typically located at the 4 o'clock position) to advance the moon phase indicator.

Once set, your automatic watch will continue to run as long as it receives sufficient motion. Regular wear is recommended to maintain its power reserve.
