4. Setup and Installation

2. Tie an underwriter's knot with the lamp cord wires.
3. Separate the lamp socket into its three parts.
4. Connect the wire ends around the screws inside the socket. Ensure proper polarity (ribbed wire to neutral, smooth wire to hot).
5. Reassemble the socket by attaching the top part to the base until it clicks securely.
6. Secure the assembled socket, saddle, decorative neck, and threaded pipes to your lamp base.
