Safety Information

Assembly Instructions

Assembly is quick and straightforward, typically taking 15-20 minutes. No special tools are required beyond what is provided.

1. Attach Casters to Base: Insert each of the five casters into the holes at the end of each leg of the star base. Push firmly until they click into place.
2. Insert Gas Lift: Place the gas lift cylinder into the central hole of the assembled star base.
3. Attach Mechanism Plate to Seat: Align the mechanism plate with the screw holes on the underside of the seat cushion. Ensure the lever is on the right side when facing the front of the seat. Secure with the provided screws and Allen key.
4. Attach Backrest to Seat: Align the backrest with the designated holes on the rear underside of the seat cushion. Secure with the provided screws.
5. Connect Seat to Gas Lift: Carefully place the assembled seat onto the gas lift cylinder, ensuring the central hole of the mechanism plate fits securely over the top of the gas lift.

Your chair is now assembled. Ensure all connections are secure before use.

Operating Instructions

Height Adjustment

To adjust the seat height, pull the lever located on the right side of the seat upwards. While holding the lever:

• To raise the seat: Lift your weight off the seat. The seat will rise automatically.
• To lower the seat: Remain seated and apply pressure. The seat will lower.

Release the lever to lock the seat at the desired height (range: 43 cm to 56 cm).

Swivel Function

The chair features a 360° swivel function, allowing for easy rotation without moving the base. The five smooth-gliding casters also allow for silent and effortless movement across hard floor surfaces, protecting them from scratches.

Care and Maintenance

• Cleaning: Wipe the chair's surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. For mesh fabric, a mild soap solution can be used, followed by wiping with a clean, damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
• Inspection: Periodically check all screws and bolts for tightness. Retighten as needed to maintain stability and safety.
• Environment: Store the chair in a dry environment. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or high humidity.

Troubleshooting

• Chair wobbles: Check that all screws are securely tightened. Ensure the gas lift is fully inserted into the base and the seat mechanism.
• Height adjustment not working: Verify that the gas lift lever is functioning correctly and not obstructed. Ensure the gas lift cylinder is properly installed.
• Casters not rolling smoothly: Check for any debris (hair, dust) caught in the casters and clean them. Ensure casters are fully inserted into the base.
• Squeaking noises: Apply a small amount of silicone lubricant to moving parts, such as the gas lift or caster stems, if necessary.
