Setup and Installation Guide
This section provides a general guide for installing components into your Noua Iron V7 Nero case. Always refer to the specific manuals of your individual components (motherboard, PSU, GPU, etc.) for detailed instructions.
- Preparation: Unpack the case and ensure all accessories (screws, cable ties, remote for ARGB fan) are present. Place the case on a stable, flat surface.
- Accessing the Interior: The tempered glass side panel is hinged. Gently open it to access the main compartment. The opposite side panel can be removed by unscrewing the thumbscrews at the rear.
- Power Supply Installation: Install your ATX power supply into the dedicated compartment at the bottom rear of the case. Secure it with screws from the rear. Route necessary cables through the cable management cutouts.
- Motherboard Installation: Install the I/O shield into the rear opening. Align your motherboard with the standoffs inside the case. Ensure the correct standoffs are used for your motherboard size (E-ATX, ATX, m-ATX, Mini-ITX). Secure the motherboard with screws.
- Storage Drive Installation:
- For 3.5" HDDs or 2.5" SSDs: Use the provided brackets in the drive cage.
- For 2.5" SSDs: Mount directly to the dedicated 2.5" bays on the rear of the motherboard tray.
- Graphics Card (GPU) Installation: Remove the necessary expansion slot covers at the rear. Insert your graphics card into the PCIe slot on the motherboard and secure it with screws. If installing vertically, a separate riser cable and bracket (not included) will be required.
- CPU Cooler Installation: Install your CPU cooler according to its manufacturer's instructions. Ensure it does not exceed the maximum height of 180mm.
- Fan and Radiator Installation: Install additional fans or liquid cooling radiators in the supported locations as desired. Ensure proper airflow direction.
- Cable Management: Utilize the cable management cutouts and tie-down points behind the motherboard tray to route and secure cables for a clean build and improved airflow.
- Front Panel Connections: Connect the front panel cables (USB 3.0, USB 2.0, Audio, Power SW, Reset SW, HDD LED, Power LED, ARGB) to the corresponding headers on your motherboard. Refer to your motherboard manual for header locations.
- Final Checks: Before closing the case, double-check all connections, ensure no cables are obstructing fans, and confirm all components are securely mounted.
Operating Instructions
Once all components are installed and connected, you can power on your system.
- Power On: Connect your power supply to a wall outlet. Press the "Power" button on the top I/O panel of the case.
- ARGB Fan Control: The pre-installed ARGB fan can be controlled via the included remote control. Use the remote to change lighting modes, colors, and brightness. If connected to a compatible motherboard's ARGB header, lighting can also be synchronized via motherboard software.
- USB Ports: Use the USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 ports on the top panel for connecting peripherals and external devices.
- Audio Jacks: Connect your headphones or microphone to the audio jacks on the top panel.
- Reset Button: The "Reset" button can be used to restart your system if it becomes unresponsive.
Maintenance
Regular maintenance helps ensure optimal performance and longevity of your PC components.
- Dust Filter Cleaning: The Noua Iron V7 Nero features dust filters on the top (magnetic), bottom, and side metal panel. Regularly remove and clean these filters to prevent dust buildup inside the case, which can impede airflow and component cooling. Use compressed air or a soft brush.
- Interior Cleaning: Periodically open the side panel and use compressed air to remove dust from fans, heatsinks, and other components. Ensure the system is powered off and unplugged before cleaning.
- Cable Management: Ensure cables remain neatly routed to maintain good airflow.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your PC build, consider the following common troubleshooting steps:
- System Not Powering On:
- Check if the power supply is properly connected to the wall outlet and the power switch on the PSU is in the "ON" position.
- Ensure the 24-pin ATX and 8-pin CPU power cables are securely connected to the motherboard.
- Verify that the front panel "Power SW" cable is correctly connected to the motherboard header.
- Fans Not Spinning / No RGB Lighting:
- Check fan power connections to the motherboard or fan controller.
- Ensure ARGB cables are correctly connected to the ARGB header on the motherboard or the included controller.
- If using the remote, ensure it has working batteries and is pointed towards the controller.
- USB Ports Not Working:
- Verify that the USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 front panel cables are securely connected to the correct headers on your motherboard.
- No Display Output:
- Ensure your monitor cable is connected to the graphics card (GPU) output, not the motherboard's integrated graphics output (unless you are using integrated graphics).
- Reseat the graphics card in its PCIe slot.
- Check the power connections to the graphics card.
