1. Introduction

3. Setup Instructions

1. Position the Unit: Place the backdrop case on a flat, stable surface where you intend to use it.
2. Extend Stabilizer Legs: Locate the stabilizer legs on the bottom of the case. Rotate and extend both legs outwards to provide a stable base for the backdrop.
3. Unlock the Case: Unlatch the two metal clasps on the top of the case.
4. Open the Lid: Gently lift the lid of the case to reveal the rolled-up screen and the handle.
5. Raise the Screen: Grasp the handle located at the top center of the screen. Slowly pull the handle upwards. The pneumatic X-frame mechanism will extend the screen and automatically lock it at your desired height.
6. Switch Sides (Optional): If you wish to use the alternate color (blue or green), carefully lower the screen back into the case, rotate the entire unit, and then raise the screen again to expose the other side.

4. Operating Instructions

• Adjusting Height: To adjust the screen height, gently pull the handle upwards until the screen reaches the desired position. The auto-locking mechanism will engage, holding the screen in place.
• Lowering the Screen: To retract the screen, gently pull the handle upwards slightly to disengage the lock, then guide the screen downwards into the case. Ensure a controlled descent to prevent damage.
• Switching Sides: The backdrop is double-sided (green and blue). To switch colors, fully retract the screen into its case. Carefully rotate the entire base unit 180 degrees. Then, raise the screen again to display the alternate color.

5. Maintenance

• Cleaning the Screen: The polyester screen can be machine or hand washed. Use a mild detergent and cold water.
• Drying: Tumble dry on a low setting or air dry.
• Ironing: If necessary, iron the screen on a low setting. Avoid high heat to prevent damage to the fabric.
• Storage: Always retract the screen fully into its protective hard case when not in use. Ensure the stabilizer legs are folded in and the latches are secured for safe transport and storage.

• Screen Not Retracting/Extending Smoothly:
  • Ensure the stabilizer legs are fully extended and the unit is on a level surface.
  • Check for any obstructions in the retraction mechanism.
  • Apply gentle, even pressure when raising or lowering the screen. Avoid forcing it.
• Wrinkles or Creases:
  • The screen is designed to be wrinkle-resistant. If minor wrinkles appear, try gently stretching the fabric or using a low-heat iron as per maintenance instructions.
  • Ensure the screen is fully extended and allowed to hang for a period to naturally smooth out.
• Stability Issues:
