- Initial Cleaning: Before first use, fill the kettle with clean water to the MAX level. Boil the water, then discard it. Repeat this process two to three times to remove any manufacturing residues.
- Power Connection: Ensure the kettle is correctly seated on its power base. Plug the power cord into a suitable 220V UK wall outlet.
Operating Instructions

- Switching On: Press the On/Off switch downwards. The indicator light will illuminate, indicating that the kettle is heating.
- Boiling: The kettle will automatically switch off once the water has boiled. The indicator light will turn off.
- Pouring: Carefully lift the kettle from the power base and pour the hot water. Exercise caution as the kettle body and steam will be hot.
- Re-boiling: If the kettle needs to be re-boiled immediately, wait for 10-20 seconds to allow the internal thermostat to reset.

Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your kettle.
- Before Cleaning: Always unplug the kettle from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
- Exterior Cleaning: Wipe the exterior of the kettle with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
- Interior Cleaning (Hand Wash): The interior of the kettle can be cleaned by hand. Open the lid and gently wipe the inside with a soft sponge and mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly with clean water.
- Descaling: Over time, mineral deposits (limescale) may build up inside the kettle, especially in hard water areas.
- Fill the kettle with a mixture of one part white vinegar and two parts water.
- Boil the mixture and let it stand for at least 30 minutes, or longer for heavy scale.
- Discard the mixture and rinse the kettle thoroughly several times with fresh water.
- Alternatively, use a commercial descaling solution and follow its instructions.
- Storage: When not in use, store the kettle in a dry place. The power cord can be wrapped around the base for neat storage.
