1. Safety Instructions

WARNING: Always read and understand all safety warnings, instructions, illustrations, and specifications provided with this power tool. Failure to follow all instructions listed below may result in electric shock, fire, and/or serious injury.

General Safety Rules

• Always wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including safety glasses, gloves, and hearing protection when operating the chainsaw.
• Keep children and bystanders away while operating a power tool. Distractions can cause you to lose control.
• Do not operate power tools in explosive atmospheres, such as in the presence of flammable liquids, gases, or dust.
• Maintain a firm grip with both hands on the chainsaw handles during operation.
• Ensure the work area is clear of obstacles and well-lit.

Chainsaw Specific Safety

• Kickback Prevention: Avoid using the tip of the guide bar. Always engage the chain near the handle for cutting to minimize the risk of kickback.
• Safety Lock: The safety lock switch and trigger must be pressed simultaneously to start the saw, preventing accidental activation.
• Splash Guard: The anti-splash baffle helps prevent wood chips from splashing during operation.
• Battery Insertion: Only insert the rechargeable battery once the device is completely assembled. If the device is switched on accidentally, there is a danger of injury.
• Keep your other hand at least 15cm away from the cutting area of the blade. The hand must not be put into the knife edge.

3. Assembly

IMPORTANT: Ensure the battery is removed before performing any assembly or maintenance.

3.1 Mini Chainsaw (Chain & Guide Bar) Assembly

1. Place the chain around the guide bar, ensuring the cutting teeth are facing the correct direction (forward, away from the motor).
2. Align the chain with the sprocket on the chainsaw body.
3. Slide the guide bar onto the chainsaw body, ensuring the pin on the cover aligns with the guide plate hole.
4. Adjust the pin on the cover to a suitable position using the screwdriver.
5. Install the side cover. Do not fully tighten the nut yet; leave a slightly loose space to adjust the chain tension.
6. Adjust the screw clockwise to tighten the chain until there is approximately a 3mm gap when pulling the chain down from the guide bar.
7. Once the chain tension is correct, tighten the nut on the side cover clockwise to secure it.

3.2 Pole Saw Attachment

To convert your mini chainsaw into a pole saw:

1. Ensure the mini chainsaw is fully assembled and the battery is removed.
2. Connect the mini chainsaw unit to the top end of the extension pole. It slides on like a battery and locks into place.
3. Attach the battery to the base of the extension pole.
4. Adjust the length of the pole as needed for your reach. The pole can extend up to 15 feet.
5. Utilize the shoulder strap for improved balance and reduced fatigue during extended use.

4.1 Oiling the Chain

The chainsaw features an automatic lubrication system to ensure smooth and effective cutting.

1. Unscrew the oil tank cap located on the top of the chainsaw.
2. Fill the oil tank with appropriate bar and chain oil. Do not fill the tank too full; a maximum of 30ml is recommended.
3. Replace the oil tank cap securely.
4. Press the oiler button (visible through the oil inspection window) to prime the system and distribute oil evenly along the chain.
5. Briefly run the chainsaw (without cutting) to ensure the oil is evenly distributed.

4.2 Cutting Techniques

• Mini Chainsaw: For logs up to 5.91 inches in diameter, apply light pressure to control the cutting position. The pure copper motor and high-power battery allow for efficient cutting.
• Pole Saw: For high branches, extend the pole to the desired length. Maintain a stable stance and use the shoulder strap for support.
• Always ensure the chain is properly tensioned and lubricated before and during use.

• Cleaning: After each use, clean the anti-splash baffle to remove accumulated wood chips and debris. Regularly clean the entire unit.
• Battery Care: Store batteries in a cool, dry place. Lithium-ion batteries are equipped with self-overload and temperature protection for extended life.
