Setup and Assembly
Follow these steps to assemble your Solac VPS-16BR Pedestal Fan:
- Assemble the Base: Place the pedestal pole into the base. Secure it from underneath the base using the provided base fixing screw. Tighten firmly.
- Attach the Motor Unit: Place the fan motor unit onto the top of the pedestal pole. Ensure it is securely seated and tightened if there is a locking screw.
- Install the Rear Grille: Unscrew the grille retaining nut from the motor unit shaft. Place the rear grille onto the motor unit, aligning the notches. Secure it with the grille retaining nut.
- Mount the Fan Blades: Slide the fan blades onto the motor shaft. Ensure they are correctly oriented. Secure the blades with the blade retaining nut, turning it counter-clockwise to tighten.
- Attach the Front Grille: Align the front grille with the rear grille. Secure the two grilles together using the clips or screws provided around the edge.
- Adjust Height: Loosen the height adjustment knob on the pedestal pole, adjust to desired height, and then tighten the knob firmly.

Operating Instructions
Your Solac VPS-16BR fan can be operated using the control panel on the fan head or the included remote control.
Control Panel Functions:
- Power Button: Press to turn the fan ON or OFF.
- Speed Button: Press repeatedly to cycle through the 3 speed settings (Low, Medium, High).
- Mode Button: Activates the automatic mode, which adjusts fan speed based on room temperature.
- Oscillation Button: Press to start or stop the fan head oscillating from side to side.
Remote Control:
The remote control duplicates the functions of the control panel for convenient operation. Ensure batteries are correctly inserted (not included) before use.
Automatic 12-Hour Shut-off:
The fan is equipped with an eco-friendly feature that automatically turns the fan off after 12 hours of continuous operation to conserve energy.
Maintenance and Cleaning
