2. Safety Information

  • Do not touch the electrode bulb with bare hands to avoid contamination and damage.
  • The glass bulb of the electrode is fragile; handle with care to prevent impact damage.
  • Ensure the power supply voltage matches the device's requirements (110V for US Plug model).
  • Keep the device and electrodes clean and dry when not in use.
  • This product is designed for Android devices only for app connectivity.

3. Setup

3.1 Unpacking and Component Check

Before starting, carefully unpack all components and ensure the following items are present:

  • 1 x ORP/PH Water Quality Detector (Main Unit)

  • 1 x Hook

3.2 Initial Connection

  1. Plug in the power supply (US Plug 110V) and turn on the device.
  2. Connect the pH and ORP electrodes to their respective BNC sockets on the main unit.
  3. Remove the protective caps from the electrodes.
  4. Clean the electrodes with distilled water or alcohol, then gently wipe the plastic shell and shake off any small water droplets from the electrode tips to ensure accurate readings.

3.3 Mobile App Connection (Android Only)

  1. Download the compatible mobile application (e.g., Tuya Smart app) from the Google Play Store.
  2. Create an account or log in to the app.
  3. Ensure your smartphone's Bluetooth is enabled.
  4. On the PH-803W controller, long-press the 'WIFI' button to enter WiFi network configuration mode.
  5. In the app, press 'Add Device'. The app should automatically detect the controller.
  6. Select the detected device and follow the on-screen prompts to connect it to your WiFi network.
  7. Once connected, press 'Done' in the app.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Taking Measurements

  1. Insert the electrodes into the solution to be measured, ensuring the measuring electrode is fully immersed.
  2. Gently shake the electrode to dislodge any small bubbles, which can affect test results.
  3. Read the stable display number on the device's LCD screen. The device provides real-time measurements without needing to press any buttons to switch between pH and ORP.

4.2 Using the Mobile Application

Once connected via WiFi, the mobile app allows for advanced monitoring and control:

  • Remote Monitoring: View pH and ORP values, along with temperature, directly on your smartphone from anywhere.
  • Settings Adjustment: Change various settings for the controller, such as temperature units. Press the WiFi button on the device to synchronize changes after adjusting settings in the app.
  • Data Logging and Export: The app records historical data. You can view data trends over days, months, or hours. To export recorded data, select the desired parameter and press 'Export', then type a file name and save it to your phone.

5. Maintenance

5.1 After Each Use

  • Unplug the power supply.
  • Clean the electrodes thoroughly with clean water.
  • Replace the protective caps on the electrodes.

5.2 Long-term Storage and Calibration

  • For long-term use, regular maintenance and calibration of the instrument and electrodes are essential to ensure accuracy.
  • Refer to the specific calibration instructions provided with your calibration solutions.
