Rear Panel Connections

- Audio Out (RCA Red/White): Connects to an external audio system.
- Video Out (RCA Yellow): Connects to a TV or monitor to display CD+G lyrics.

Setup
- Power Connection: Connect the supplied AC power cord to the DC IN jack on the rear of the unit and plug the other end into a standard wall outlet.
- Microphone Connection: Plug the wired microphone into one of the MIC input jacks on the rear panel.
- Optional TV Connection (for CD+G lyrics): If you wish to display lyrics on an external TV, connect the supplied RCA video cable (yellow plug) from the VIDEO OUT jack on the karaoke machine to the video input on your TV.
- Optional External Audio Connection: For enhanced sound, connect the supplied RCA audio cables (red/white plugs) from the AUDIO OUT jacks on the karaoke machine to the audio input on your home stereo system or powered speakers.
- Tablet Holder Installation: Attach the detachable tablet holder to the designated slot on top of the unit. This allows you to securely place a smartphone or tablet.

Operating Instructions
Powering On/Off
Press the Power button to turn the unit on. The screen will illuminate. Press it again to turn the unit off.
Playing CD/CD+G Discs

- Open the CD compartment cover located on the top of the unit.
- Place a CD or CD+G disc onto the spindle with the label side facing up.
- Close the CD compartment cover.
- Press the Function button until "CD" mode is selected.
- Press the Play/Pause button to start playback. Lyrics for CD+G discs will appear on the built-in screen or connected TV.
- Use the Skip Forward/Backward buttons to navigate between tracks.
Bluetooth Operation
- Press the Function button until "BT" (Bluetooth) mode is selected. The unit will enter pairing mode, indicated by a flashing Bluetooth icon on the screen.
- On your Bluetooth-enabled device (smartphone, tablet), enable Bluetooth and search for "Starion KS780-B".
- Select "Starion KS780-B" from the list of available devices to pair. Once paired, a confirmation tone will sound, and the Bluetooth icon will stop flashing.
- You can now play audio from your device through the karaoke machine's speakers.
USB Playback and Recording
- USB Playback: Insert a USB flash drive containing MP3 or MP3+G files into the USB port on the rear panel. Press the Function button until "USB" mode is selected. The unit will automatically begin playing compatible files.
- Recording Performance: While playing music (from CD, Bluetooth, or USB) and singing into the microphone, press the Record button to begin recording your performance to the connected USB drive. Press Record again to stop.
Microphone Usage and Controls

- Ensure the microphone is plugged into a MIC input jack.
- Adjust the microphone volume using the MIC VOLUME knob.
- Apply echo effect with the ECHO knob.

Light Effects

Troubleshooting
