1. Setup

1.1 Unpacking

Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Ensure all protective materials are removed from the humidifier, especially from the water tank and mist outlet.

1.2 Placement

Place the humidifier on a flat, stable surface. Ensure it is at least 6 inches (15 cm) away from walls and furniture to allow for proper mist dispersion. Avoid placing it directly on carpet or near heat sources.

1.3 Filling the Water Tank

The Honovos 10L Humidifier features a convenient top-fill design. Use distilled or purified water to prevent mineral buildup and white dust. Do not pour water directly into the 360° nozzle.

• Method 1 (Top Fill): Open the top cover and pour water directly into the tank.
• Method 2 (Remove Top Section): Lift off the entire top section of the humidifier to access the main water reservoir for easier filling.

Fill the tank up to the 'MAX' line indicated on the water level window. Do not overfill.

1.4 Power Connection

Plug the power cord into a standard electrical outlet. The display will illuminate, indicating the unit is ready for operation.

2. Operating Instructions

The humidifier can be operated via the touch control panel on the unit or using the included remote control.

2.1 Control Panel Overview

• On/Off/Sleep: Powers the unit on or off, or activates sleep mode.
• Mist Volume: Adjusts the mist output level (Low, Medium, High, Highest).
• Customize Humidity: Sets a desired humidity level (40% to 90% in 5% increments). The unit will automatically turn off when the set humidity is reached.
• UV/Night Light: Activates the UV sterilization lamp and cycles through 7 color options for ambient lighting.
• Timer: Sets an operating time from 1 to 12 hours, after which the humidifier will automatically turn off.

2.2 Mist Output Adjustment

Press the 'Mist Volume' button to cycle through the 4 mist output settings. The current setting will be displayed on the screen.

2.3 Smart Humidity Control

Press the 'Customize Humidity' button to set your desired humidity level. The humidifier will automatically maintain this level, turning on and off as needed. The current room humidity is displayed on the screen.

2.4 Night Light and UV Lamp

Press the 'UV/Night Light' button to activate the UV sterilization function and cycle through the 7 available ambient light colors. This feature can be used independently or during humidification.

2.5 Essential Oil Tray

Locate the essential oil tray at the back of the humidifier. Pull out the tray, add 2-3 drops of your preferred essential oil onto the aroma pad, and reinsert the tray. The mist will carry the aroma into the room.

3. Maintenance

3.1 Cleaning the Water Tank

Regular cleaning is essential to prevent mineral buildup and ensure optimal performance. Unplug the humidifier before cleaning.

• Remove the top section and empty any remaining water.
• Wipe the inside of the water tank with a soft cloth. For stubborn mineral deposits, use a solution of white vinegar and water.
• Rinse thoroughly with clean water before refilling.

3.2 No Filter Replacements

This ultrasonic humidifier is designed to be filterless, eliminating the need for regular filter replacements. This simplifies maintenance and reduces ongoing costs.

3.3 Essential Oil Tray Cleaning

Clean the aroma pad in the essential oil tray regularly to prevent oil residue buildup. Remove the pad, wash it with mild soap and water, rinse, and let it air dry before reuse.

4. Troubleshooting

4.1 No Mist Output

• Check Water Level: Ensure the water tank has sufficient water. The unit will automatically shut off if the water level is too low.
• Power Connection: Verify the humidifier is properly plugged in and powered on.
• Mist Outlet Blockage: Ensure the mist outlet is not blocked by any debris or mineral buildup.

4.2 White Dust Around Humidifier

White dust is a common issue with ultrasonic humidifiers, caused by minerals in hard water. To minimize this, use distilled or purified water.

4.3 Unusual Noises or Beeping

• Water Level: A beeping sound often indicates a low water level. Refill the tank.
• Placement: Ensure the unit is on a stable, flat surface to prevent vibrations.
• Internal Components: If unusual noises persist, unplug the unit and check for any obstructions in the water basin or around the ultrasonic transducer.
