Maintenance and Cleaning

  • Daily Cleaning: After each use, drain any remaining water from the reservoir. Remove the ice basket and clean it with warm water and a mild detergent. Wipe the interior with a clean, damp cloth.
  • Deep Cleaning (Weekly/Bi-weekly): For a more thorough cleaning, prepare a solution of water and a small amount of vinegar or lemon juice. Pour it into the reservoir and run a few ice-making cycles (discard the first few batches of ice). Then, drain the solution and rinse the reservoir thoroughly with clean water.
  • Exterior Cleaning: Wipe the exterior of the appliance with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Storage: If storing the ice maker for an extended period, ensure it is completely dry inside and out. Store it in a cool, dry place.
