  • Always attach plug to appliance first, then plug cord into the wall outlet. To disconnect, turn any control to 'off', then remove plug from wall outlet.

  • Avoid contact with steam from the spout when water is boiling.
  • Ensure the lid is securely closed before operating.

Before First Use

Initial Cleaning

  1. Open the lid and fill the kettle with clean water up to the 'MAX' fill line.

Placing the Kettle

  1. Place the power base on a dry, flat, and stable surface, away from the edge of the countertop.
  2. Ensure the power cord is not dangling or in a position where it can be tripped over.
  3. The kettle can be placed on the 360° swivel base from any angle.

Operating Instructions

Filling the Kettle

  1. Press the button on the handle to open the lid.
  2. Fill the kettle with fresh, cold water. Do not fill below the 'MIN' mark or above the 'MAX' mark indicated inside the kettle. Overfilling may cause boiling water to spill out.
  3. Close the lid firmly until it clicks into place.

Boiling Water

  1. Place the filled kettle onto the power base.
  2. Plug the power base into a standard grounded electrical outlet.
  3. Flip the On/Off switch downwards to the 'ON' position. The indicator light will illuminate, signaling that the kettle is heating.
  4. The kettle will automatically shut off once the water reaches a rolling boil. The indicator light will turn off.

Pouring

  1. Carefully lift the kettle from its power base.
  2. Pour the hot water slowly and steadily to avoid splashing.
  3. Always pour away from your body to prevent steam burns.

Maintenance and Cleaning

  1. Always unplug the kettle and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.

  1. Fill the kettle with 2 cups of white vinegar and 2 cups of water.
  2. Bring the mixture to a boil and then let it soak for at least 30 minutes, or overnight for heavy buildup.
