3. Setup Guide
3.1. Battery Installation and Initial Charge
- Remove Insulation Paper: Before first use or recharging, unscrew the tail cap of the headlamp and remove the insulation paper from the battery.
- Insert Battery: Ensure the Sofirn 18650 Li-ion 3000mAh battery is inserted with the positive (+) end facing towards the head of the lamp.
- Secure Tail Cap: Screw the tail cap back on tightly to ensure proper contact and water resistance.
- Charging: The headlamp features a built-in USB-C charging port. Unscrew the bezel on the side to reveal the port. Connect the provided USB-C cable to the headlamp and a 5V power source (e.g., wall adapter, PC, power bank). The indicator light will show charging status (e.g., red for charging, green for full).

3.2. Headband Adjustment
The adjustable headband allows for a comfortable and secure fit. Adjust the straps to fit snugly around your head or over a cap. The headlamp unit can be tilted up to 180 degrees to direct light precisely where needed.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1. Basic Operation (White Light)
- Turn On/Off: Single click the power button to turn the headlamp on or off.
- Cycle Brightness Modes: When the light is on, press and hold the power button to cycle through brightness levels: Moonlight (1 lumen), Low, Medium, and High (up to 500 lumens). Release the button at your desired brightness.
- Turbo Mode: Double-click the power button from any state to activate Turbo mode (1000 lumens). Double-click again to return to the previous mode.
4.2. Special Modes (Strobe, Beacon, Red Light)
- Strobe/Beacon: Triple-click the power button from any state to activate Strobe mode. Triple-click again to cycle to Beacon mode. Single click to turn off.
- Red Light Mode: From the OFF state, press and hold the power button for approximately 1 second to activate the red light. Press and hold again to cycle through red light brightness levels. Single click to turn off.
4.3. Lantern Mode
The headlamp unit can be easily detached from the headband to function as a standalone mini-lantern or flashlight. This allows for versatile placement on surfaces like picnic tables or inside tents, providing ambient light.

5. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the headlamp with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- Battery Care: For optimal performance and longevity, fully charge the battery before extended storage. If the headlamp will not be used for a long period, it is recommended to remove the battery.
- Water Resistance: The D25L is waterproof. Ensure all caps and seals are tightly closed before exposing the headlamp to water to maintain its water resistance.
6. Troubleshooting
- Light Not Turning On:
- Check if the battery insulation paper has been removed.
- Ensure the battery is inserted correctly with the positive (+) end facing the head.
- Verify the battery is charged. Connect to a charger and check the indicator light.
- Ensure the tail cap is screwed on tightly.
- Dim Light or Short Runtime:
- The battery may be low. Recharge the battery fully.
- The battery may be old or damaged. Consider replacing the 18650 battery.
- Charging Issues:
- Ensure the USB-C cable is properly connected to both the headlamp and the power source.
- Try a different USB-C cable or power adapter.
- Check if the charging port is clean and free of debris.
