1. Product Overview

The TJOY Smart LED Light Bulbs are advanced lighting solutions designed for modern smart homes. These A19 E26 base bulbs offer RGB color changing capabilities, dimmable white light (2700K-6500K), and smart control features. With a power consumption of 9W (equivalent to a 60W incandescent bulb) and 800 lumens of brightness, they provide efficient and versatile illumination. They are compatible with the Tuya Smart APP, Amazon Alexa, and Google Assistant, allowing for convenient voice and app control.

2. Setup and Installation

2.1 Physical Installation

1. Ensure the power to the light fixture is turned off before installation.
2. Carefully screw the TJOY Smart LED Light Bulb into any standard E26/E27 light socket.
3. Turn on the power to the light fixture. The bulb should illuminate.

2.2 App Download and Pairing

1. Download the "Tuya Smart" APP from the Google Play Store (for Android) or the Apple App Store (for iOS).
2. Ensure your smartphone is connected to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. 5GHz Wi-Fi networks are not supported for initial setup.
3. Initialize the smart bulb: Power on the device. If the light is not blinking rapidly, turn the light switch OFF-ON-OFF-ON-OFF-ON (three times off-on cycle) to put it into pairing mode. The bulb should start blinking rapidly.
4. Open the Tuya Smart APP. The app should automatically detect the new device. If not, tap the "+" icon in the top right corner to manually add a device, then select "Lighting" and choose "Light Source (Wi-Fi)" or "Light Bulb (Wi-Fi)".
5. Follow the on-screen prompts to confirm the blinking status and enter your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network password.
6. Wait for the connection process to complete. Once added, you can rename the bulb for easier control (e.g., "Living Room Light", "Bedroom Lamp").

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 App Control (Tuya Smart APP)

• Color Changing: Choose from over 16 million color options to set the perfect mood for any occasion.
• Brightness Dimmable: Adjust the brightness from 1% to 100% to achieve your desired luminosity.
• White Light Adjustment: Change the white light temperature from warm white (2700K) to cool white (6500K).
• Music Sync: The app can change the bulb's scenes and colors in sync with the music you play.
• Timer and Scheduler Mode: Set schedules for your lights to turn on/off automatically at specific times.
• Remote Access: Control your bulbs from anywhere, even when you are not home, without distance limits.

3.2 Voice Control (Alexa & Google Home)

• Once connected to the Tuya Smart APP, link your account with Amazon Alexa or Google Home.
• Use simple voice commands to control your bulbs:
  • "Alexa, turn on/off [bulb name]"
  • "Hey Google, change [bulb name] to blue"
  • "Alexa, dim [bulb name] to 50%"
  • "Hey Google, set [bulb name] to warm white"
• Group Control: Group multiple bulbs together in the app or through your voice assistant to control them simultaneously. For example, "Alexa, turn off bedroom lights."

4. Maintenance

TJOY Smart LED Light Bulbs are designed for long-term use with a lifespan of approximately 15,000 hours. Minimal maintenance is required:

• Ensure the bulbs are securely screwed into their sockets.
• Clean the bulbs periodically with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust and maintain optimal light output.
• Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials for cleaning.

5. Troubleshooting

• Bulb not connecting/blinking: If the bulb does not automatically enter pairing mode (rapid blinking) after being powered on, perform the OFF-ON-OFF-ON-OFF-ON cycle (turn the light switch off and on three times) to reset it. Ensure the light is blinking rapidly before attempting to pair.
• Wi-Fi Connectivity Issues: These bulbs are only compatible with 2.4GHz Wi-Fi networks. They will not work with 5GHz networks. Ensure your phone and the bulb are connected to a 2.4GHz network during setup.
• Frequent Disconnections: If bulbs frequently disconnect from your network, ensure they are within adequate range of your Wi-Fi router. A Wi-Fi repeater may be necessary for bulbs located far from the router.
• Physical Switch Interference: Using a physical light switch to turn the smart bulb on/off frequently can sometimes cause the bulb to reset and lose its connection. It is recommended to control the bulbs primarily through the app or voice commands to avoid this issue.
• Internet Outage: If your internet connection goes down, you will lose the ability to control the lights via the app or voice commands. The bulbs will remain in their last set state.
