Maintenance

Cleaning the Printer:

Regular cleaning helps maintain print quality and extends the printer's lifespan.

  1. Turn off the printer and unplug the power cord.
  2. Open the printer cover.
  3. Use a soft, lint-free cloth dampened with isopropyl alcohol to gently clean the thermal print head (the dark strip inside the printer). Allow it to dry completely before closing the cover.
  4. Clean the paper path and rollers with a dry, soft cloth to remove any paper dust.
  5. Wipe the exterior of the printer with a slightly damp cloth.

Caution: Do not touch the print head immediately after printing as it may be hot. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents.

Replacing Paper Roll:

When the paper exhaustion sensor indicates low paper, or when the print quality degrades due to the end of the roll, replace the paper following the steps in the "Loading Thermal Paper" section.
