Setup
Follow these steps to set up your HyperX Alloy Origins 60 keyboard:
- Unpack the Keyboard: Carefully remove the keyboard and its accessories from the packaging. Ensure all components listed in the "What's in the Box" section are present.
- Connect the USB-C Cable: Connect the detachable USB-C cable to the USB-C port on the keyboard and the other end to an available USB-A port on your computer or compatible gaming console.
- Adjust Keyboard Angle: Utilize the two-step keyboard feet on the underside of the keyboard to set your preferred tilt angle for ergonomic comfort.
- Install HyperX NGENUITY Software (Optional but Recommended): For advanced customization of RGB lighting, macros, and game mode, download and install the HyperX NGENUITY software from the official HyperX website. This software is compatible with PC.

Key Functions and Layout
As a 60% keyboard, some functions are accessed via the Fn key combined with other keys. Secondary functions are conveniently printed on the sides of the double-shot PBT keycaps for quick reference.

- Fn Key Combinations: Use the Fn key (located near the right Alt key) in combination with other keys to access functions like F1-F12, media controls, arrow keys, and navigation keys (Home, End, PgUp, PgDn).
- HyperX Mechanical Switches: The keyboard is equipped with HyperX Linear Red switches, designed for fast and accurate keystrokes. These switches have an actuation force of 45g, a travel distance of 1.8mm, and a lifespan of up to 80 million clicks.

RGB Lighting Customization
The HyperX Alloy Origins 60 features per-key RGB lighting with radiant effects, thanks to the exposed LED design of the switches. Lighting can be customized directly on the keyboard or through the NGENUITY software.
- Onboard Lighting Effects: The keyboard comes with pre-programmed lighting effects that can be cycled through using specific Fn key combinations. Refer to the quick start guide for exact key combinations.

Maintenance
Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your keyboard.
- Cleaning the Keycaps:
- Disconnect the keyboard from your computer.
