1. Important Safety Information

4. Setup

4.1 Charging the Camera

Before first use, fully charge the camera. Use the provided USB cable and adapter.

  1. Connect the small end of the USB cable to the camera's USB port.
  2. Connect the large end of the USB cable to the power adapter.
  3. Plug the adapter into a wall outlet.
  4. The charging indicator light will illuminate (typically blue or red). The light will change or turn off when charging is complete.

4.2 Initial Power On/Off

  • To Power On: Press and hold the Power On/Off Key for a few seconds until the screen illuminates and the device starts up.
  • To Power Off: Press and hold the Power On/Off Key for a few seconds until the device shuts down.

4.3 Date and Time Setting

It is important to set the correct date and time for accurate timestamps on your recordings.

  1. Power on the camera.
  2. Navigate to the 'Settings' menu using the navigation buttons.
  3. Select 'Date/Time' or a similar option.
  4. Adjust the year, month, day, hour, and minute using the appropriate buttons.
  5. Confirm your settings to save.

5. Operating the Camera

5.1 Video Recording

The camera supports 1440P HD video recording.

  1. Ensure the camera is powered on.
  2. Press the Video Record Key (often a prominent yellow button) once to start recording. A red indicator light or on-screen icon will confirm recording is active.
  3. Press the Video Record Key again to stop recording. The recording will be saved automatically.

5.2 Photo Capture

Capture still images at 32MP resolution.

  • While in standby or recording mode, press the Photo Key once to take a picture.
  • The screen may flash briefly, indicating a photo has been captured.

5.3 Audio Recording

Record audio independently.

  • Press the Audio Record Key once to start audio recording.
  • Press the Audio Record Key again to stop recording.
  • To mute/unmute the microphone during video recording, press and hold the Audio Record Key.

5.4 Night Vision Mode

The camera features high-intensity infrared LEDs for clear night vision up to 50 feet.

  • Press the IR Key to toggle between normal mode, IR night vision, and white LED light.
  • In low-light conditions, the camera can automatically switch to night vision if enabled in settings.

5.5 Playback

Review your recorded videos and photos directly on the camera's screen.

  1. From the main screen, navigate to the 'Playback' or 'Gallery' option.
  2. Use the navigation buttons to browse through your files.
  3. Select a file and press the 'OK' button to view or play.

5.6 Panic Mode

Activate the panic mode for immediate attention.

  • Press the designated Panic Mode button (refer to camera layout) to activate a loud siren and flashing light.
  • Press the button again to deactivate.

6. Connecting to a Computer

Transfer files and manage settings by connecting the camera to a computer.

  1. Ensure the camera is powered off.
  2. Connect the camera to your computer using the provided USB cable.
  3. The camera will appear as a removable disk drive on your computer.
  4. You can now access, copy, or delete files from the camera's internal memory.

7. Maintenance

7.1 Cleaning

  • Use a soft, lint-free cloth to clean the camera lens and screen.
  • For stubborn smudges, slightly dampen the cloth with water. Do not spray cleaners directly onto the camera.

7.2 Storage

  • Store the camera in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • If storing for extended periods, ensure the battery is partially charged (around 50%) to prolong its lifespan.
