1. Product Overview

This attachment is engineered to integrate seamlessly with the motorcycle's original luggage rack, which is typically an optional accessory from the manufacturer.

It provides a secure and stable platform for carrying additional luggage, enhancing the utility of your motorcycle. The maximum permissible load for this attachment is 6 kg.

4. Setup and Installation

This GIVI SR1186 rear attachment is designed for installation exclusively on Honda Forza 750 and X-ADV 750 (2021 models onwards) motorcycles that are already equipped with the manufacturer's original optional luggage rack.

1. Prepare the Motorcycle: Ensure the motorcycle is on a stable surface, preferably a center stand, and the engine is off and cool.
2. Identify Mounting Points: Locate the designated mounting points on the motorcycle's original luggage rack. These are typically pre-drilled holes.
3. Position the SR1186 Attachment: Carefully place the GIVI SR1186 specific rear attachment onto the original luggage rack, aligning its holes with the mounting points.
4. Secure with Hardware: Use the provided mounting hardware (bolts, washers, spacers) to secure the SR1186 attachment to the original luggage rack. Hand-tighten all bolts initially.
5. Final Tightening: Once all bolts are in place and aligned, progressively tighten them using appropriate tools. Refer to your motorcycle's service manual or GIVI's specific instructions for torque specifications if available. Ensure a firm and secure fit without overtightening.

Important Compatibility Note: When using MONOKEY plates M8A, M8B, M9A, or M9B, the design of these plates and the SR1186 attachment does not allow for the installation of a stop light kit on the top case or a remote control device for opening the top case.

Once the GIVI SR1186 attachment and your chosen GIVI plate are installed, using your top case or bag is straightforward:

• Attaching a Top Case/Bag: Align the top case or bag with the GIVI plate and press down firmly until it clicks into place. Ensure it is securely locked.
• Detaching a Top Case/Bag: Use the release mechanism on your GIVI top case or bag (typically a button or lever) to unlock it from the plate, then lift it off.
• Load Capacity: Always adhere to the maximum load capacity of 6 kg for the SR1186 attachment. Refer to your top case or bag's specific load limits as well.
