2. Setup Instructions

2.2 Physical Connections

1. Power Connection: Connect the provided power adapter to the DC-5V input port on the side of the encoder. Plug the adapter into a standard power outlet.

4. Maintenance

4.1 General Care

• Keep the encoder in a cool, dry environment, away from direct sunlight and excessive heat or moisture.
• Clean the exterior with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or solvents.
• Ensure proper ventilation around the device to prevent overheating.

4.2 Battery Care (for models with battery)

• For optimal battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently.

• Web GUI Unresponsive: Try restarting the encoder. If the issue persists, perform a factory reset using the RST button (refer to section 2.2 for location). Note that a factory reset will erase all custom settings.
